For someone with serious health problems involving multiple organ systems and requiring many specialists, both at Ochsner and elsewhere, this app is truly valuable. I often receivetest results quickly and can share them with outside physicians, avoiding repeat testing. It also helps them see my true health picture. I can make appointments and communicate with most Ochsner caregivers. (Though each uses the app differently. Some only list upcoming appointments and lab results; others do not use the app at all. Their appointments and those they schedule with others, like PT, may not appear.)

My Ochsner chart is absolutely priceless to keeping up with everything while we have been here! We are able to know our results extremely quick, pre check in, little to no wait! Keep up with Appts & any changes that were made!Ochsner has been an extremely pleasant experience even though we were here for a very serious procedure! My husband actually had a liver transplant & we didn’t have a negative person or event that happened at all! Thank you Ochsner for making our time as pleasant as possible!!!

The only problem I seem to be having is when I pay my bill ONLINE, it asks if you would like to pay a specific bill or (recommended) let y’all decide which bills to apply it to.. I got a phone call several weeks ago about one of the $4.75 bills I owe, said she was going to turn me over to collections for that amount,,, WHY when I pay you, you cannot apply $4.75 to a bill, then apply the rest of the money to an older account also? This makes absolutely no sense at all to me.. so if this email will make any difference at all, can you start paying the older ones, then start applying to more recent bills? Waiting for a response please..

I like the Ochsner app because you can access a lot of info. But a few things could be changed: 1. With the original app you could look at your previous results of old lab work so you can see a trend or a graft. Now you have to type the word “MyOchsner” into your search bar. Then you are able to see your previous lab work side-by-side along with the new lab work. 2. No way to get rid of old messages. You can put them in the trashcan but you can’t empty the trashcan. So you have all this collected in your app. That really needs to be changed. Thank you for letting me voice my opinion.
