Love the app I know most people don’t but also helps to have the app were others who have one doesn’t connect to your jbl while using it with out the. You can not control it and others can take over your speaker. Always use the app to pervert someone else from logging in to your speaker I have no issues had the app for 3 years great system to have I have no regrets at all I am happy and love my speaker as well. Thank you jbl … I am in the process of getting more than one speaker and you can pair them together or you can use them separate they do have sorest codes for each speaker. It great so if you are a first time buyer like my self you will enjoy it and easy to set up. Have fun and enjoy your music. Thanks jbl for being great and awesome.

This app is so annoying from the jump. The second you open it, it bombards you with a full screen subscription plan ad pop-up. Then it gives you about 5 seconds to click another button before another full screen ad appears again. Connection instructions are confusing, and I didn't even have a second to read what it said before a 3rd unnecessary subscription plan ad popped up. The worst part of the pop-ups is that you have to wait before you can exit out of it so your attempt to connect your device is constantly being interrupted. I think I was genuinely on the app for all of 2 minutes and encountered at least 5 of the same subscription plan ad's in that short period of time. Eventually I finally got my device connected, and had absolutely no idea how to navigate through the app. There are no clear instructions on how to use specific functions, such as checking device battery, connecting your music streaming app, lowering and heightening volume, etc. All this app did was frustrate me and drive me to delete it, which is what I did immediately after. The app has good reviews which leads me to believe that it might work on some people's end and not other others, but from my personal experience I don't recommend this app.

The little things this dev(s) do from the very moment you open the app for the first time just to annoy you enough to buy their subscription is going to be a waste of your time. The obnoxious full page ad blocks to give these guys money before even seeing if the app works was so unimaginative and blatantly hustling you that it’s genuinely insulting. If there’s even a free trial to know if this thing works, I didn’t even get to see it thanks to really aggressive subscription ad blocking me from even finishing setting up the app. (Edit: the ads asking you to subscribe are unskippable for a few seconds, which doesn’t sound bad until you realize they’ve made it so it takes over the screen every couple of clicks - or if you leave the app at all for a second). I’m glad they convinced me to delete this app before I could waste my money on it along with my time. Even if it works, I’m not supporting that kind of “tricky” behavior from an app creator.

This intrusive approach only reinforces the feeling of being milked for money. In summary, Speaker Connect prioritizes profit over value. Its sleek design can’t justify the lack of substance or the aggressive monetization tactics.
