You no longer have to go back and forth between settings screens or switching remotes.
■Get the latest news and updates
Full support is provided to ensure that each device is used in the most up-to-date and optimal condition. Even after setup is complete, the app will notify you of recommended features, settings, software updates*, etc.
The software wasn't updated. I didn't know it had the feature! These surprises are a thing of the past. The app provides support so that you can maximize the value of the equipment you have purchased.

■Vision assistance
Use the built-in iOS VoiceOver function to assist with setup and remote control operations using voice narration.
You no longer need to memorize the layout of buttons on the remote control or the order of items on the screen.

This is the first home theatre product I’ve had with phone app integration. I was skeptical at first but now I’m so thrilled I can control the theatre system from my phone. It’s so easy to use and make adjustments. One feature I never thought I’d use but now use fairly regularly is the night mode. It’s great to reduce the functionality of the subwoofer as needed when I want to watch a movie late at night. I never have to worry about waking up others. Without this functionality, I’d never be able to watch movies late at night. Besides that the app works so well and the connection, very stable. Overall, i’m pleased with its functionality and simplicity.

It does everything the physical remote control can do or the tv settings. The only reason I use it is so I can use Bluetooth to listen to music. Roughly %50 of the time I open the app I have to go through the whole setup process over. %10 of that %50 of the time I have to uninstall and reinstall just to get it to work, I’ve had it for several years. Love the speakers though, hate the app. Would not use if I could Bluetooth any other way.
Needs Arrow Buttons and Select Button

This app works fine, but it’s very frustrating to only have the scroll pad, and not also have simple arrow buttons and center select, like the actual Sony remote does. The scroll pad can be too sensitive, and I keep scrolling back and forth past what I’m trying to select. And the scroll pad doesn’t always correlate to the functionality of some apps, like not being able to press and hold a select button for a list of options.Otherwise, the volume, and menu function seems fine. Just add arrow and select buttons, and this app will be fine.

I will say it’s a great soundbar and it wasn’t to difficult to set up. It sounds great for movies not necessarily bad when you’re listening to talk shows or news but it really lacks bass. Over all volume and punch could be much better. I was expecting more power and volume from it. It does sound good and it’s a great piece especially over the TV speakers. I just have the soundbar so I think I wil need to add the woofer and side speakers to get what I want. I heard a competitors bar at my friends house and it definitely had more punch and sound especially listening to a concert. I am happy with it though.
