Full support is provided to ensure that each device is used in the most up-to-date and optimal condition. Even after setup is complete, the app will notify you of recommended features, settings, software updates*, etc.
The software wasn't updated. I didn't know it had the feature! These surprises are a thing of the past. The app provides support so that you can maximize the value of the equipment you have purchased.

■Vision assistance
Use the built-in iOS VoiceOver function to assist with setup and remote control operations using voice narration.
You no longer need to memorize the layout of buttons on the remote control or the order of items on the screen.

I recently switched from a Samsung TV to Sony Bravia 9, 85” TV, that was released a couple of months ago. I downloaded this app, not knowing what to expect. It has turned out to be so useful that I hardly ever use the remote that came with the TV. Not only does it serve as a remote for the TV, but it also allows me to change picture and sound settings on the fly. It is very intuitive and gives quick access to my various apps. Absolutely love it. Well done, Sony!
Sound system

Gives options that are not given on any other platform to enable the sound system connected to the television to be ideally enhanced. It made a big difference in our case. We can now hear dialogue functionally along side the other sound effects. This was a problem before I found out the adjustments that are possible in this app. It was a great help!!
Good but UI could be better

I found that installing the rear speakers was not intuitive in the least. You would think add a new device but that didn’t work. But after play around I found that the menu scrolls left and right (not obvious) and there it had an option for setting up the subwoofer and rear speakers. Only took several hours of playing around to find the easy setup. If the help option just offered a step by step explanation or the UI was a bit better.
Needs Arrow Buttons and Select Button

This app works fine, but it’s very frustrating to only have the scroll pad, and not also have simple arrow buttons and center select, like the actual Sony remote does. The scroll pad can be too sensitive, and I keep scrolling back and forth past what I’m trying to select. And the scroll pad doesn’t always correlate to the functionality of some apps, like not being able to press and hold a select button for a list of options.Otherwise, the volume, and menu function seems fine. Just add arrow and select buttons, and this app will be fine.
