I was say the game compare to the Pixel Starship 1 is definitely a big leap. One thing I love is the that you are about to have 3 profile per account for someone who wants to play all 3 factions I’m able to do so. I’m also get use to the commands which is a little different compared to original pixel starship. The are some bugs that are pretty frustrating. The screen blacks out when look to combat. I’m the quest where tells you to join a fleet but when I do it does not register I did, preventing me from progressing. For new players I definitely will say there are a lot more improvements needs to be done so do not expect it to be a perfect game, the update are fairly spontaneous. So it’s not like the developers are just going to leave it as is. And definitely keep an open mind, don’t just quit cuz something isn’t working, definitely say something on Reddit or join community discord it’s pretty helpful. At the end of the day it is developing, and it’ll get better so for now I’ll leave a star 4 it definitely on a 5 star trajectory and will change my rating to a 5 star once the bugs are fixed.

I’d give 5 stars but there’s some things I’d like to go over with.Ok so overall, game seems good and has potential BUT I can’t tell if some things were just lazily copied and pasted from the first game or the features weren’t fixed. For instance, there’s a message saying somewhere that players can revenge attack you if you attack them, yet I haven’t even found a way to see if you’ve been attacked besides finding the wins and loses on your profile. BUT, the feature where you don’t lose resources if you get attacked and you lose, so it won’t make some people rage out of the game.Now for the game breaking bug, you can’t get past the “diplomacy envoy” mission. Not saying it’s too difficult, I mean once you get to the system, the mission isn’t found anywhere and prevents further progression through missions. Now you’re still able to upgrade stuff and aren’t completely soft locked, you cannot explore anywhere else you haven’t already. The market seems different too, it uses ONLY the money system (similar to gems instead of coins where you get them overtime, you gotta pay for them). And with the diplomacy envoy bug, you can’t get good loot or things to sell on the market. So overall: good game, seems to be still in development, some things seem copied and pasted, but still overall fun with some interesting mechanics like the O2 system.

I am trying so hard to like this game. Just got it today, and so far I have ran into 3 problems. One of those being a bug, the other 2 being maybe bugs. 1st one. In my main mission bar or whatever it is, it shows a completed mission that gives me 99 black squares… I tap on it, doesnt do anything. Have refreshed the game, have tried to fix corrupted files, nope. 2. It sends access resources to my mail..l but when I try to take them out of the mail, if I can’t hold that amount, it says, access will be sent to mail. Ok, good. I take that, doesnt allow me too because I need more storage… but you just said it will just send access to storage? Anyways, I have all these resources in the mail that I can’t use because I can’t hold them.3. It will not allow me to put people from the crew bar to the actual starship… I have 2 people in the crew bar, yet I still had to buy another guy instead of just being able to drag from the bar to my ship.besides these 3 games, the game is enjoyable. These 3 issues remove only 2 stars, 1. because I really want to like this game, and 2, the last 2 issues are probably me being stupid.I recommend this game, it’s approved by me, a free to play player. What do you do when you have a gem of a game that you’re running into the ground? Why you go make soulless unity clone of it obviously! PSS2 is the inbred cousin of PSS1; ugly, disease (bug) ridden, and not invited to the family reunion.Anywhere that PSS1 had charm and creativity, PSS2 has budget unity assets and obtuse mechanics. Beyond just spitting in the face of the original, PSS2 was rushed out (likely to meet deadlines set by grant funding or simply in a desperate attempt to generate more money) in a literally unplayable state. The game, simply put, is not functional. The UI is even clunkier than PSS1, and that’s saying something. Intrusive popups and constant reminders to pay real money for in game currency/buffs are rampant. Nothing is explained properly, and the player is simply expected to have fun in the face of overwhelming confusion. The pacing of the tutorial is beyond horrendous. The character avatars have no soul. The gameplay is simultaneously too slow to be engaging and too fast to be understood by a new player.I’ve only scratched the surface of the issues. Avoid this game at all costs. Even if it was playable, it wouldn’t be worth the time.
