more Let me start by saying I’ve tried every calendar/task manager/time clocking app that exists, and until now the price of Akiflow has scared me away from really giving it a good try. Well I pulled the plug and tried it and it has solved almost all my issues. There are just a small handful of things I’d love to see implemented:1. If I’m syncing todoist with multiple projects, I’d love to be able to separate the projects and not have them all in one list - with this comes if I move a task from a project to a different one, it should sync that way. And third, if I create a task in Akiflow, it should also be added to todoist. There are not deal breakers because I do have ways around, it would just be nice to have proper sync. 2. Swiping works, but the day page is blank until you release and resets - this is messing with my ADHD. There’s a small “refresh” that happens instead of having the data already there like in literally every other calendar app. This is not a deal breaker for now, but I’m not sure I can get used to it since, again, all other apps are more smooth within this category. 3. I’m sure this is being worked on, but, the app tends to have features stop working, like drag and drop tasks onto calendar, or move an event, and I have to force quit the app and reopen it and then it just works again. 4. Request, not an issue - support attachments and rich content like map templates etc. if someone send me a calendar event and there’s a document attached (mainly Google doc), it would be nice to have that attachment supported - this is different than an embed link. Quite honestly, to me personally, if these 4 were solved, I could give up all other calendars and task apps that I use and it would be worth it.

I’ve used a LOT of productivity apps over the years and while Akiflow had many of the standard features you’d expect, they have a few that stand out. Their “time block” feature is especially useful. It allows you to put time on your calendar and populate it with multiple tasks. They recently added a feature where you can see how much time is budgeted in that block based on the time you’ve assigned the tasks and workflows where tasks you didn’t complete in that block to move over to the next one. This is a really nice way to flip between list/tag-based task management and zero-based calendar management. Their customer service is exceptionally good. Be sure to take advantage of the onboarding call and productivity coaching sessions. This human touch is why I cancelled my other services and switched to Akiflow as my main system. Having a video call when I’m stuck or overwhelmed has been a game changer!

Paper planners don’t work for me because my life is too fast and the need for my personal and work calendar/tasks to be on ONE SPACE is crucial for me not to go insane. - Travel Time: add travel time before an event, estimated from your starting location for driving, cycling or walking, or set manually. It shows on your calendar, with a reminder when it's time to leave.
- Group your Inbox by source or project from the view options. Your choice syncs with desktop and web.
- Bulk editing now lets you set, change or remove the duration of several tasks at once.
- Better VoiceOver support: buttons that were missing a label are now announced.
- New icon for the Someday section.
Bug Fixes
- New tasks without a time no longer get a default duration. Your default is applied when you give a task a time.
- Tasks added from the Today page no longer land on yesterday's date after the app stays open past midnight.
- Fixed all-day events overflowing the day header in the calendar.
- Editing "this and following" on a repeating event that ends after a set number of times no longer adds extra occurrences.
- Events Google creates from Gmail (flights, hotels, reservations) no longer revert your edits: fields Google doesn't allow changing are now read-only.
- Suggested items you dismiss on another device now disappear here too.
- The Inbox count in the side menu now matches the bottom bar badge and caps at 99+.
- Sending a bug report no longer fails when your local data is large.
