Settapp was the best, they removed it and brought this garbage. You can’t swipe out of app without losing connection and it drains your battery like no other. You even get ads!! It’s their ads but still this is work not promotion. I will never recommend solar edge to anyone. It was enough that their optimizers go out after a month but now their firmware is worse than a virus on your computer. If you ask me, bring the old days back! Your customer base and tech base would be a lot happier… update… NEVER UNINSTALL THE APP, they don’t tell you that all of their updates are stored in your phone and when you delete it they’re gone. I just did that on solar edges order and now I have to wait an HOUR or more to get the system updates. Absolute trash app

The previous SolarEdge app had all of the bugs worked out which means it’s time to spit-can that and introduce a new, bug -laden, barely usable app and force installers to move to it or just jump off a bridge or run out in to traffic and end my misery. Do you guys test anything before you force us installers whose livelihoods depend on reliable and time-efficient configuration tools?Just updated the app and it is still just as frustrating as ever. Still “processing” when trying to communicate with an inverter after 30 minutes. Don’t call it SolarEdge Go, call it “SolarEdge Wait while you’re stuck in front of an inverter waiting an hour for it to communicate”

I’ve been installing several types of systems over the last 6 years and I can say without a doubt solar edge is by far the worst on its firmware as well as its apps and its support teams are extremely unhelpful. Why does this app cost 60% of my battery to set up 1 inverter over a 2 hour process. Your physical product barely competes with the likes of Tesla, Sol Arc and enphase and you have by far the worst app and support please do yourselves a favor and help it’s a pretty embarrassing sign when the homeowner is hovering over me for 2 hours while your app and inverter are not able to communicate or hold a good line of communication great way to give buyer confidence.

Worked with Solar Edge for about four years now. The app has always been a breeze to work with…. Up until this new SolarEdgeGo app was launched. About 90% of the time I’m unable to log into inverters for commissioning or service calls. Once I toggle the switch left to connect to inverters WiFi I get stuck in a “processing” loop that never completes. When you call SolarEdge support, they request device logs and even that doesn’t work! It pulls up the logs in file form but won’t allow you to send the email!! So incredibly frustrating for the installer AND customers when I’m standing around for hours trying to connect to inverters. PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM SOLAREDGE MY GOODNEEE
