Thrilled to find this.

I’ve been trying to find an app for years that can help remind me to do stuff. After a week I start to ignore the reminders no matter how much I want to get things done. The routines have made it easier for me to manage lots of multi-task things with significantly less anxiety. Just getting up and doing a basic morning routine would have me paralyzed. Since I started using your app I love that it tells me my morning routine only takes “28 minutes” to me that has significantly helped my fawn response. My brain can handle doing something for 28 minutes. Where before is see this list of things and just immediately want to hide and not know where to start. I’ve only been using it 3 weeks and it’s already doing great things!

I also love the simplicity and that there aren’t a lot of things to make me distracted. I love the idea of Finch and some of the others but I lose myself in all the details.

Also agree with other review thanks for the forever option for the fee. I don’t mind paying for apps but I don’t like doing it monthly and for something life changing like this and so necessary it makes it more accessible.

App update requires login - no support

Updated to 3 based upon responsiveness of the developer. Still buggy but there’s potential.

After today’s update I’m automatically logged out and prompted to login. I tried forgot login but don’t get the promised email. It also isn’t saved to my passwords. Did we even have a login? I have (or had) an account under settings but no email. I paid the annual fee for something I can’t use. If we didn’t have an email login, when first creating the app, how will I ever get linked back to my account since I can no longer access my account number? OK, so I figured out how to back in to my account. But it was a very poor user experience. I had to go through the whole new user routine and create another routine, (which is a pain in the neck long navigation). I was again asked if I wanted to subscribe. Was able to recover my account, I think?? There was some prompt to recover my account. (Unclear instructions) After, on the account page where my account number was, was now a button telling me to create an account to share my routines across devices. This again was not clear instruction. The two routines that I had taken so much time creating and refining were morning routines. They are gone. The one I created to get back in was a study routine. I selected something other than morning routine on I would not over right my other routines. Very poor user experience. Especially for someone who has ADHD.

Developer Response ,

I'm so sorry this happened to you. I'm working hard on fixing the issue. Could you send me an email at thomas@routineflow.app? I'll help you restore your old routines.

Amazing app but one suggestion

This is more of a suggestion than a review but I love this app, it works wonders! This app allows you to be very flexible when it comes to building routines and staying determined. There’s lots of cool features that allows for the smoothest experience. This is also very good for people with ADHD or other struggles that limit their daily productivity and routines. I do have one tiny small suggestion: I would appreciate if the app was more updated with the recent emojis! When you are setting up a daily task in your routine, you are allowed to pick an emoji that syncs with that task but the option of emojis is limited and I noticed there’s a few emojis missing when I try finding it to match my task. I realized the more- newer emojis aren’t displayed yet. I’m sure this will be worked on and like I said, it’s not a major suggestion but it would be nice! 👍
