I’ve been using the KK Home app with my lock for a bit now, and honestly it just works, which is all I really wanted.The app is responsive and doesn’t lag or glitch when I need it, which is huge for something tied to security. I like being able to check the history so I can see exactly when the door was locked or unlocked, and the notifications are consistent without being annoying.You can toggle things like sound on and off depending on your preference, which is a small detail but makes a difference. The light-up display on the lock itself is also a nice touch. It’s clean, easy to see, and not overdone.Setup and day-to-day use have been straightforward. No digging through complicated settings or trying to figure things out.Overall, it’s simple, functional, and reliable, which is exactly what a smart lock should be.

I changed an old automatic door lock that used to get stuck even with new batteries for this one and I’m glad I did!! It is amazing! You can add as many finger prints and codes as you want to open the door. You can set up one time codes and deactivates immediately after using it. You can even open the door if you can’t get to the door fast through the app. Good purchase!

Updated review after 1 day use: the lock keeps disconnecting the WiFi. My phone and other devices like the led lights works fine in the basement but this one doesn’t. Original review:I was hesitant initially due to unknown brand. I was thinking to buy Philips one but it had poor app reviews. I just installed it and the app is really good. The fingerprint hardware is also very good. Other locks can’t get my 4yr old’s fingerprint correctly which this one did! The body, the buttons feel premium. No idea on battery life, will try to update in a few months.

The notifications work and connectivity is awesome. The only issue I see is that the notification sound does not work, the alert comes up but if you are not looking at your phone on that instant you will miss the notification because it does not make any sound at all. I’ve checked my ringtone and I even uninstalled and reinstalled the app but still no sound on the notifications. If you can fix this then this would be the perfect app paired with the perfect hardware.
