Awesome Drug Reference for Nurses

I literally use my Davis Drug Guide everyday at work. The hospital I work at is small, so we (the nurses) mix all the medications that don’t come premixed. This app lists how to reconstitute and dilute the medication. There have been very few times I haven’t been able to find how to prepare a medication on this app. This app is also very helpful for checking IV compatibility between different medications. It lists the compatible meds and the incompatible meds for each drug. The list of side effects and adverse reactions is very helpful as well. Another of my favorite things on the app is the wide range of calculators on the app. There have been many times a coworker and I are calculation infusion rates for critical meds and I often use the calculators on this app to double check our math. I recommend this app all the time to my coworkers.

Worth the money

I purchased this app for $40 and now when my operating system with apple just updated, the app quit working. The developers told me that they are not going to be updating the app and the only solution is for me to purchase the app again. No thank you. So unless you want to keep buying this whenever your OS updates, don’t get it.*UPDATE*Customer service gave me a very easy fix. I am so happy because I really love this app. I’m a nurse and use it frequently. Highly recommend.

Worth the money

This app is great for nursing students! It’s a must have even if it’s not recommended by your nursing program. I had the old version of the drug guide which didn’t work with the new iOS. I received instructions from this company on how to download the latest version that would immediately, and they resolved the issue in less than 24 hours.This is a great app. I’m a nurse and I love to be able to check unfamiliar meds and potential side effects quickly. This is my go-to app at work and very user friendly. Highly recommend it!
