Follow up- A Few Recent Issues

It is quite obvious that the last version caused interface issues. So, thank you for fixing rewards/ star total and the resetting issue yesterday in the release of v5.3. However, the 2 stars goes to your customer support. Each time I contacted them via Chat or your question form they would respond with a canned response. The following is part of the response. “I apologize you didn’t you receive the stars for your purchases towards the menu challenge. I know how frustrating this may be.” First of all, my input never mentioned missing reward points from a menu item purchase. It was about the entire app not displaying reward points and resetting when I selected redeem. I even provided a screen shot of the issue. Secondly, why couldn’t you post an acknowledgement on your website you are aware of the issue rather than providing useless steps (eg, re-installing app or in my case clearing background apps)? It was obvious this problem was affecting many users.

I understand these are first world problems, but the quality level of your customer service has dropped significantly within the last 10 years. Lessons learned...customer service cannot be replaced with technology.

Reloading the card should have more options!! and more options when customizing drink

I love everything about this app for the most part I’ve never had any problems there are only two things I would change and hope to see in future updates. One being the fact that we can’t input a lower amount than $10 on the Starbucks card. It’s annoying that I have to take $10 out of my own debit card to reload onto the rewards card, just for a $2 bagel. It forces me to spend the other $8 and I don’t go often enough to be spending so much money on it. I prefer to use the app because it’s faster and I use it on my breaks at work because I have a limited time and it would just be a lot more useful if we were able to input a specific amount that we want to reload onto the card (ex: $3, $5, $0.50) because sometimes I’ll have about $1 and some few cents left in my card and if I want to get a cake pop or a bagel I don’t want to have to spend a whole $10 just bc that’s the lowest amount I’m allowed to reload. We should be able to reload just enough to cover what the order total would be. It would be very useful! And another thing would be to have the option to customize teas to “kid temperature” as it’s always way too hot to drink & if I’m ordering through the app it doesn’t give me that option. Thank you and I hope to see this in newer updates!!
