I love the Gilt app. It has everything the website has just in a more pulled together user friendly format. It’s easy for me to see my insider points, apply discounts, quickly change cities in Gilt City. It doesn’t crash, it saves items like it should, saves all my info like it should, no problems whatsoever. The only thing I would like to be able to do that I can do using the site is in Gilt City to have the link to the seller clickable. It is not a clickable link in the app. Besides that one little thing, which does tend to get annoying at times, I much prefer the app over the website. And I swear, they have everything! Just search and I bet you’ll find what you’re looking for or something pretty darn close. And you’ll for sure find items you just love at all ranges of prices which is another thing I just love which also makes it a great place to buy gifts. Plus you get points for each purchase which you can use for discounts off your purchase once you have enough. I don’t usually prefer an app, or one stop shopping, but this is my go to app and the first place I look when shopping. Prices are competitive too. And Customer Service is great...I’ve rarely had to contact them but when I have they have just been great. Another reason I keep coming back. Rock on! XOXO

I have been a gilt shopper for years, I’m Noir status now!!! I check this site almost everyday, even when I’m not trying to shop. For some unknown reason I find myself just scrolling thru the items and it relaxes me. Lol. That’s how addicted I am. I recommend Gilt to everyone that ask me where I shop but to be honest the only thing that bothers me is the ticking clock that reminds you that your item will be moved out of your cart. I mean I get it. There’s other people who may want your item and Gilt wants to help you get it before someone else does but it becomes kind of bothersome because I’m still shopping. I feel rushed. As with a lot of shoppers, I want to make sure that I have found what I truly want. I hate returning things. I want to absolutely love my purchase, make sure the quality is worth the money and make sure I can fit it because I can’t try it on. So, my opinion is remove the clock, or add more time and if by chance someone has gotten my item because I took to long... I guess I’ll have to check back for a similar item or add it to my waitlist but the clock is annoying and sometimes I find myself adding the item again and then without knowing, I have like 3 of the same items in my cart, so another customer probably didn’t get what they wanted. This by far isn’t a negative review, it’s just my opinion about the count down clock, lol. I still give 5 stars to this company. I would give more stars if I could. I also get my items before the expected date. I’ve never had to call customer service ( yet ). I’ll let you guys know if I ever have to but for now Thanks Gilt... keep up the good work. My App works perfectly every time and believe me... I use this app everyday... at least twice a day, if not more. Lol 💕💕💕 Ri

I feel that Guilt provides us with an excellent shopping experience! They offer so many great luxury designers and products that you would normally find at your higher end department stores and boutiques at discounted prices! The same type of idea like T.J. Max and Ross’s. Only way better and you get to shop from anywhere you are! Wether at home or while waiting in the long line at Starbucks! The app is so user friendly and easy to use! I personally never had any issues with the app and I promise you, I am on it probably just as much as a 16yr old girl is on twitter and FB! A LOT! What I like even more about Gilt, other than its ease to shop, is the customer service! You always get a live person on the line when you call. Such a plus! What’s even cooler, is that since the company is based out of Ireland, the customer service staff have the cutest accents!! Gilt’s staff is extremely courteous and helpful! I’ve had a few instances where I needed to call, (for example, when my candle jar was broken from shipping.) and when I did, the sweet Irish lady was so helpful and nice to me, ultimately making the disappointment of not being able to burn my new candle just yet until the replacement comes, just disappear! I was no longer disappointed and hung up the phone with a smile on my face! You don’t get that type of customer service from many other places, I promise you! When you live out in the country in the hills of Tennessee, online shopping is a must! With that said, I have to admit that I have had my share of bad customer service experiences! So far, not with Gilt! I bet it must sound like I am either an employee of the company or perhaps a part of their PR, with the intent of trying to rack up more positive reviews. I promise you, I am not! Just a city girl who now lives in the country and now has to do all her shopping online in order to get the latest and greatest! I get it all on Gilt! Y’all should really give it a try! 🤗
Beware the app does not indicate final sales

I have been shopping with Gilt for years, mostly with no issues. My last purchase was made through the app. On starting a return I discovered that half of the items on the order were not listed as returnable. I took screenshots of the order on the app to show customer service that nowhere does it say that those items are final sale. The first customer service agent offered me the option of returning them all (4 items) for store credit. I declined that and asked for a supervisor who can do something about the fact that the app does not list any of these items as final sale and refund my credit card. I was then contacted by three different “supervisors” via email instead of the promised call back over the weekend. The first offered the option of returning only two. The second wrote to say that they will not approve my return of any of the four items and the third offered to return only two!! Not a single one of them acknowledged my attached screenshots that prove that the app does NOT show any of those items as final sale. This is the third technical issue I have had with Gilt in a row. The customer service was condescending and dismissive. It felt like talking to robots. I will never shop with Gilt again.
