I prefer non-stressful games because I work a high-stress job. This lets me turn my brain off, but keeps me busy when I’m waiting in line or just want to play for 15 minutes. I like the customization aspect of it. That was the main draw in the beginning. The goals are hard for me to hit as I’ve progressed because I don’t have time to put into upkeep. It becomes tedious building up a large bank of neighbors to visit and maintain, but having a large neighborhood is the quickest way to achieve goals without spending money. I do wish they would provide an organization method for items that can be sorted into collections. After being on this game for about 10 years, I’ve accumulated many items. It is frustrating and time-consuming to find and pair up coordinating designs when I want to switch up themes in my restaurant. Sifting through all the objects can be a chore, so now I don’t play nearly as much as I did in the beginning. I do like the option to purchase past goal ovens, but again, it’s a pain having to swipe page after page to see if I don’t already own whatever past goal ovens they are offering for sale. I pretty much don’t bother with it anymore. I do recommend the game to others, as it is fun to grow your restaurant in the beginning. There is one initial advert (abbreviated because this keeps glitching and kicking me out when I type it out the word during writing this review… how sus) that you will have to watch when opening the game the first time each day. The others are optional if you want to earn a few extra gems.

Used to play this game a LOT on and off throughout my childhood. It’s always been a really fun game to keep coming back to along with bakery story. Unfortunately since re-downloading the game it is now completely taken over with ads especially everytime when first entering the game or trying to serve food. These ads also cause major glitches in the game such as resetting tasks you’ve already completed, disappearing food or items, and even just the game freezing completely. Ive loved the option to watch an ad to speed up food orders but the random ads popping up everytime you enter which were not from you clicking to watch an ad for a speed up keeps glitching your progress and is infuriating. I’ve also had irl friends playing this game with me recently who do not receive my requests in game. This has been more recent as the ads have become worse and I’m not sure if it’s another glitch from those ads. Either way I will probably be uninstalling this game of these issue persist 😔 ( note- I can say bakery story has a LOT less of these ads and glitches but it does still happen unfortunately…)UPDATE : I have since now deleted this game as the ads got to a point they almost made me buy over $30 in game gems because I could not hit the X button and it was super glitched/ having freezing issues. This stressed me out so bad! I am done with this game till all these bugs and ads are fixed.

Played this game years ago, but I don’t remember so many game ads popping up in the middle of playing, nor do I remember it being so difficult to actually complete goals. I appreciate the ads we have the option to view for more coins, but I am really aggravated with the pop up ads during my play time. It interrupts whatever I am doing and it interferes if I need to pop on and off the game real quick… As far as the goals go, the requirements to complete the goals is a bit ridiculous. If it’s because you want gems to be bought and used, that’s not cool at all. It seems a bit unfair when we can’t gauge what all of our ‘nghbrs’ are sending us because some send what you need or want, while others are in their own world with sending whatever they feel like ignoring your requests. We are limited on how many gifts we can receive and how many requests can be filled in a day, but we can all the nghbrs we want. I love the building and designing, the coking, etc but these are the things that have me pretty aggravated.. if just the pop up ads were to go away, that’s would a big help. Plus, these ads that pop up are advertising ‘no pop up ads’ while they themselves are popping up in the middle of someone’s game. So dumb. It would be a more fun and relaxing game if the ads were only there for us to click on as we choose, not just randomly popping up. Racking up coins and experience is quite a task too. It can be rough trying to get anywhere with this too. I’m sure I’m not the only one with these complaints.

Ok so I love this game and my literal only complaint is that I will spend DAYS with my door blocked accumulating food. And I mean I’ve gone a full week several times not opening my door. And when I feel the food has accumulated enough, I will open the door. But go back into the game within the same hour and all or most of the food be gone but not having received the money I should’ve received for the amount of food that is no longer there. I’ve done this a lot of times and this last time (kept door closed 3 days. 25 counters all with thousands or tens of thousands of servings each. There was 2 or 3 that only had a couple hundred. Before I opened the door I added up all the servings on each counter and it came out to be exactly 113, 692 total). I screen recorded me checking each counter with how many servings each had. This was at 2:04pm EST. At 2:47pm EST I went back into the restaurant to see over half my counters empty but roughly only 150k increase in my earnings. I know different foods cost different prices but there’s no way that adds up the way it should. I have the screen recordings for both when I checked before opening the door, including the date and time as well as when I went back to check 43 minutes later also including date and time. Idk if it’s a bug or what but it happens often and I think it needs to be fixed.
