I love this game so much. I love games where I get to build up a little village and gather resources and this game is perfect for that! What sets it apart is that there are minigames that you can play as well, many of which are really rewarding! The different locations that you can travel to (from what I have seen so far) are really fun, exciting, and unique!While I do love this game in it’s entirety, there is one small issue that brought my rating down a bit. So many things cost smurfberries, and on its own that’s not a terrible thing (I understand the company needs to make money, and smurfberries are a way to make that money), however, the issue is with the free smurfberry system in the game. There are two main ways to get smurfberries for free, which include watching videos to get them. Ever since I got the game though, the videos just seem to not work, and the only hope I have of getting those free smurfberries is if the movie theatre has an interactive ad. This is something that I find really frustrating as it is the only way I am able to earn smurfberries daily, but it does not work properly. At first I thought it was because I wasn’t using the internet, but when I did use the internet it didn’t work either. While I do enjoy the game, if they fixed this issue I would enjoy it MUCH better.

Fun but too many glitches

I absolutely love this game, but it has way too many glitches that are preventing my village to grow and thrive. I love how you can move things around and how the smurfs wave at you when you tap them and all of the mini games and challenges in this game, but one thing that got in the way of me enjoying this game to the fullest is that my smurfs would get stuck. They would start waving at me but never stop, and it happened with two of my smurfs so I couldn’t use them to grow crops or build houses, and I had to buy more smurfs. I got really annoyed by this so I reset my game and started from scratch. When I started the game, papa smurf didn’t give me anything to do, so I just decided to design my village how I wanted it and grow some crops to level up. I got to level ten, and I was really happy about how my village looked until, last night, I went on the game to grow some crops and check on my Smurfs when I see that my village is disorganized like how it was when I started to move things around. I even went down to the start of level nine! Papa smurf was giving me commands now, but it cost me my village! I had to rebuy some of my smurfs huts! I was so mad. I now have to redesign my village and regrow all the crops I used to level up, while still following papa smurfs commands! I am really disappointed that such an awesome game has so many glitches, and I really hope that it gets fixed because I am not sure I would want to play this game if I have to redo all my hard work very often or at all. I would recommend getting this game, but not if you don’t want to redo your whole village!

I played this game years ago when it first came out and picked it up to start all over more than a year ago and haven’t put it down since. I check in to my Village daily and look forward to the updates and especially the EOs. “Playing” Smurfs my way to calm my busy brain and it is also a nice way to be creative by designing little worlds. Here is my only complaint: The prizes for the small games are so boring and predictable. There has not seemed to be a refresh of prizes since I started playing again more than a year ago. As a result, I’ve abandoned almost all mini-games from huts because the prizes are just not worth the time and effort any more. I certainly don’t need to spend any more of time my on my iPad, but speaking to you from the standpoint of what I assume is your desire for our continued consumerism (wanting more of our time, effort, and money), you would greatly benefit from doing a full refresh of prizes. This would not only peak interest in playing the mini-games again, but it would also encourage us to design and build areas in our Villages that maybe we wouldn’t otherwise (which would then encourage us to spend more time, money, and effort in continuing with that new design.

issues with friends connection :(

I love this game overall, it’s a lot of fun and quite addicting. my mom and I decided to get it together since we knew there was a friends function where we could visit each other. unfortunately the game made it as difficult as possible to become friends. for starters, it wouldn’t allow either of us to make a smurf id, it kept saying error try again later. we decided to go the facebook route and even then it took us a few days of trying for it to finally let us both connect our facebooks. once we did, it took another few days for each of us to show up in the other’s friend list. my mom got to visit my village twice, where she left a gift both times but I only got one of them. I got to visit hers once, where I left a gift and she had to close/reopen her game multiple times before the gift appeared. since then, every time we go to the friends tab, it shows a “you’re not connected to the internet” error, which is odd because we both certainly are connected to the internet. this is getting to be quite frustrating since we initially got this game so that we could visit each other. I can see that a lot of effort is made to make new content for players, and it is appreciated! however, I do wish just some of that effort would be put towards the friends function.
