I was told about Lotus Bud at the Mid Valley Pain Clinic in Salem, Oregon. I downloaded the app and then forgot about it. My second week at the clinic I was reminded to utilize the app this week and I have to say it has been amazing. It reminds me to relax and to breath. With chronic pain it is easy to have shoulders to your ears or a wince in your face without realizing it. Having reminders to check your breathing and see where you most notice it gives you awareness that reinforces the goal of controlling the reaction to the pain. I can’t control what is causing it but I can control my reaction to it. Thank you Lotus Bud
Works great tho auto shut off is annoying

This app ticks off almost all of the boxes. Simple interface, the bells work even in silent mode (the phone vibrates instead of rings), and there's a quiet period seeing. The only gripe is that the app has to be reactivated every few days. This is actually a bigger issue than it seems for beginners like me—it's too easy to ignore or forget about the reminder to reactivate the app, so you miss out on the mindfulness reminders until the user remembers. I forgot to reactivate for a few months even.
Love it

Just what I needed for my practice. At random moments in the day you get a gentle reminder and a message of choice if you pay the me five dollars for this. And if you don’t, you’ll get another helpful message to pay attention to the moment that you’re in which is the only moment you will ever get for the rest of your life.
Wonderful tool

Simple to use and very helpful for breathing reminders. Two small suggestions to make the app even better. Create a setting that allows for sleep where it turns off and back on at selected time frames. And for the frequency settings identify the time intervals between bells.
Included for everyone
• Added a longer snooze from notification – Bell notifications now offer a second snooze option that lasts twice as long as your usual snooze
• Added the bell's status message – See how often the bell rings when you toggle on the bell, such as 'every 15 to 45 minutes'
• Fixed turning the bell on with Siri and Shortcuts – Turning the bell on from Siri or Shortcuts now works more reliably
• New App Intro – Added an intro to the app on first install, similar to the what's new when the app updates
• Bug fixes – Lots of small fixes and refinements
Included with Advanced Settings
• Disable Quiet Hour editor visibly disabled – When a quiet hour is turned off, its times and days are grayed out so it's clear they're inactive
