At first I was able to see our family accounts from the app. My wife created her own account but was not able to see the shared account. I went to the Newark office and they emailed the group who does the configuration. After about 5 days my wife was able to see the shared account from the app, this was great progress. But I logged on and I was not able to see the savings/checking accounts anymore. I went back to the Newark office and they emailed the group about this new issue. I hope the issue will be resolved soon because I have bill pay to add.Thank you.

The Fremont Bank app is not user-friendly. There are minor annoyances like alerts that appear at the top of the page which you can close, but then if you log out and log back in five minutes later, the exact same alert shows up again. It’s annoying to have to continually turn off the alerts.When paying bills if you tap on the box to input a value, it shows zero, but you have to backspace and remove the zero first before you can actually put in a real number. If you just start typing the real number the zeros in front don’t go away.Lastly, this isn’t so much the app per se, but the system takes several days to update. I can make a payment to my line of credit from my Fremont Bank checking account and even though it’s an internal transfer, it can take anywhere from 2 to 3 days to an entire week to show that the payment has posted. That’s just an unreasonably long time.
Patterned after website which is a good thing

This app is very handy. The user interface is patterned after the Fremont Bank online customer portal designed for web browsers when logging on via laptops or desktop computers. Obviously mobile devices have less screen real estate so there are some necessary differences in some aspects of the layout. But the design in my estimation is very respectful to the intent of the web browser interface which I find very logical and easy to use. So, if you are used to the desktop browser version of the Fremont Bank customer account portal and like it, you’ll like the mobile app.

I’ve been a customer of Fremont Bank since 1975. My first homeowners through them. I have since moved 125 miles from Union City and there is no Fremont Bank in the Sacramento region but I still choose to use Fremont Bank because they’ve always been good to me. All my transactions can be done mobile eight. I don’t think I’ve been to the inside of a branch since I moved was eight or nine years ago. My wife and I like the small town field of the bank.
