Practically Perfect

This is one of my favorite apps, possibly one of the best apps on the market. The gameplay, the options, the usability, and the fact that you can unlock just about every feature without spending real money. Except sometimes I’m impatient. So I did spend real money. And even though I spent $10, I still get ads after every other mission, sometimes every five missions if I’m lucky. It’s extremely irritating that I’m still getting ads, but also so many ads, after spending so much money. That seems like it deserves some attention. Another mildly annoying aspect is that you can’t turn off the sound, making it impossible to plug in some headphones, listen to music, and play the game all at the same time. The gameplay sounds are always on. That’s an option worth looking into. If I’m in the car and I’m in charge of the aux, I can’t just sit in the back and play this game while I ride around. I can’t do anything AND play this game because it’s super loud and there’s nothing I can do about it. One more thing worth mentioning is onscreen graphics. Before, when you’d walk under the dripping water or when the giant zombie spat green stuff at you, you’d see the effects, either falling water or a green smudge on your screen. One of the more recent updates has done away with that and it was a cool, random little feature, made the game more realistic. But truthfully, just the ad situation and a mute button is all I’m really concerned with, if someone could maybe look into fixing that. Thanks.

MORE LEVELS, MORE WEAPONS PLEASE

Same as everyone else who loves this game; it's fun, intuitive, and I play it constantly. But the storyline is over too soon. I got a new phone, redownloaded this app, and it's been less than a month and there's no story left (I play whenever there's a lull in the day). And I would've liked more weapons years ago. The minigun and striker are really the only fun and effective weapons to have. On my old phone, I hit level 50 and have been basically raking in money as gameplay. I've almost 6 million dollars and nothing to spend it on except the occasional health boost in the arena or a laser cutter for rare emergencies.Knives would be great, maybe a sword option, I like another commenter's idea about the flamethrower, a sawed-off shotgun, sniper rifle, any of these would work. This game is great, and that can be a problem for the developers because great games need maintenance. We all want an update. I've come to love the minor glitches and integrate 'em as part of the game, so I'm not really concerned about that as much as I am wanting more story and weapons. It's a good game, that's why we want more!

Still the best

Well still pretty much the best zombie shooter. Definitely better than dt2 and what is pretty much dt3. The problem with deadtrigger sequels is they aged horrendously. Dead trigger however has aged pretty well, like a cheap wine. The art style is what helps I like the real actor portraits of the survivors you meet/ do missions for. The in game graphics look very clean and crisp on new devices. Once again the art style in game here is good, zombies look great unlike sequels and weapons have a realistic approach. The controls are spot on (auto shoot would be a welcome option tho). Ahhh the controls... only problem with controls is the iron sights or scope aim is next to useless because of some weird auto aim feature that works at random and totally breaks its function (precise aiming). I’ve removed the button from the screen altogether to give me more on screen real-estate in control customization (just slide it off screen reset if you want it back). Really a shame you just cant turn off the absurd auto aim that totally throws you off track. Oh man now the glitches... seems to be an audio glitch, audio just breaks at random. No reloading sounds and some other pickups loosing audio as well, like extra ammo and money. Be nice to see this fixed but ya not totally game breaking. Even as is this is still a decent zombie shooter considering the competition (pretty much none lol).

Important bug fixes still needed

This is a great old game with the best zombie graphics this company has ever produced. I’ve been playing it (off and on) for years, and at one time I gave it five stars. Despite their announcement of recent upgrades and fixes, the game still has serious flaws: there are inexplicable dead zones in which weapons (especially the powerful crossbow) don’t work (they fire, but don’t kill zombies); when you move to another spot, they work fine. Worst of all, the game often crashes at the end of a fight, and you receive no points. I’ve complained about these problems to the developer literally for years, and I keep receiving reassurances that they’re going to fix these problems—but they never do. Look, I realize that this is an old game that they’re cash-cowing by showing an increasing number of ads, but it’s a shame that they won’t fix this otherwise excellent game for the sake of new and loyal customers.
