I’ve been playing Castle Story for at least eight years. I don’t play any other games similar to this one. I have been a level 50 (highest level) player for years. I’ve enjoyed the somewhat weekly challenges, the story line, the artwork, and the expansion opportunities. Unlike other games I play, I sometimes make in-app purchases. It is not necessary to make in-app purchases to enjoy the game.So, why not give 5 stars? Good question. Here is the answer:The game has become unstable. It resets repeatedly while being played, often causing the loss of a rare collection. Worse, it has a login problem. Judging from the comments I read on the Castle Story Forum, players who have been Level 50 for a long time and have huge kingdoms (like mine) seem to be having the most difficulty with login being denied. Castle Story often has timed events. Level 50 players are people who expect to complete these events. If a player cannot login, the player cannot complete the event.OK. So let us talk about the response Storm8 gives when a player sends a trouble report to support. In the early days of my playing, trouble reports received quick, polite, and helpful responses. Now, if they respond, it is with some generic comment about this being a known issue, go update your platform software and game version, restart your game, and they are closing your trouble ticket. Of course, the problem still exists. It is so insulting. In my last three trouble reports, I even included information that I had updated, reloaded, etc. and I still get this useless response.Currently, I’ve been locked out for almost 24 hours.
