We now offer a free Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Mobile Wage Reporting Application to report monthly wages. This application will allow an SSI recipient, a recipient’s representative payee, or an individual whose income helps an SSI recipient meet their basic needs (like a parent or a spouse) report their gross monthly wages to Social Security Administration from the convenience of their smartphone. Consistent monthly wage reporting helps prevent improper payments, which may cause SSI overpayments and underpayments. I’m giving it two star because i haven’t encountered many issues for the past year. However with the new security system that they put in place, it started giving me issue. Now you are asked to create account which is no big deal. The problem is they continue to say they can’t verify my identity and to call the number to resolve it but no one is picking up. I don’t like using paper and mailing the old fashion way but looks like this is the only solution now.

The Social Security Administration is so horribly flawed, their automated systems don’t even work. This app has not worked since fall of last year. It wastes your time going through the motions to say “We are unable to process your request” after trying to submit your wages. So you have to sit on hold for an hour because A) the phone system for reporting wages doesn’t work either and B) if you waste even more time waiting for a call back, they tell you you need to report wages with your local office.This whole wage-reporting system is a complete waste of time and they don’t put in any effort to make things easier for you.

I was reading the reviews here, and I see a lot of bad ones. I have not experienced any issues. I’ve been reporting my wages just fine. I’m also getting my letters every month confirming that everything was reported. I’ve only been getting SSI for 4 months, but I've never had a problem with this app so far. If that changes I certainly will be back to change my review.

Previous app was very good, easy to use. This app is awful and should never have been released. How could anyone with an intellectual or developmental disability be expected to use this? I report for my adult child, and one month’s reporting took me a whole half hour to complete - he had 8 small paychecks. I guess you want to discourage people from working, especially by piecing together several part-time jobs that result numerous small paychecks. Thankfully he has a parent to help him and we don’t have to pay someone for their time to do the reporting for him.

-Better error handling -plugin upgrades -SSA account login has been removed as a sign-in option.
