Site: It’s very clean and streamlined however I don’t think it’s very user friendly. I find that it contains very little information in comparison to the amazing offers that this bank has to offer. This is such a great bank and probably offers a lot of options but the website doesn’t say anything about it. You cant even order checks. You absolutely must call them to see what is offered. If you have little financial literacy you will not grow your portfolio here using this website if you don’t live near this bank. The staff is so friendly! I can’t stress this enough! They make up for the lack in the website. Unfortunately the hours they are available are very limited. I suggest getting the paper option to see what options, promotions and other benefits the bank may have available. Overall. Im banking here not changing but this website feels safe and yet looks like a digital hospital form.

The application is still a great tool to get bills paid and knowing your available balance. Bill pay and loan pay options are great. Working via phone has multiple benefits and this application makes doing your banking online seem effortless. The next added feature that would be nice to see expanded upon is the cross application interface as well as the password process as it seems like the appropriate time passes me by and I’m reminded via the login page letting me know I have an “incorrect password“. Is there a way to set up facial recognition and apply A. I. to the process of keeping the main device used for logging in updated to facial structure changes for weight gain and loss , facial hair growth, and some type of retinal identification as well. The electronic devices have come leaps and bounds as well as their photo capabilities. The eyes can change patterns or hues of colors and the ears and nose continue changing as well as the previously mentioned characteristics that allow us to identify individuals. By updating the programming for facial recognition it could help replace the password reset that can be daunting to remember as many things continue to move on throughout the month. By adding a feature that allows A.I. to continually update the facial recognition, it could possibly be a great way to save time as well as limiting the calls that we the consumers make to the call center for assistance. There’s a few other options that could possibly allow the program/application to progress with A. I. in other areas but I digress. A very handy and well rounded application that makes my daily banking transactions easier.

The app and banking system provided is only functional for individuals who like to carry a checkbook to balance themselves, or who have knowledge of how banking is to work. Definitely less user friendly and less accurate than others I have banked with. The app itself is slow moving. I find I regularly have to go through my receipts and balance my books due to the inaccuracies and lack of information the app has. I often find times where I have no access to my app due updates or maintenance. I have even reached out to customer service and tried to figure out what’s going on with my account and they are not helpful and they do not have answers. Their customer service team is nice, just not helpful. Considering the younger generations are not taught to balance checkbooks I find this to be extremely outdated. (Whether younger generations should be taught to balance checkbooks is a separate argument.) I do not find this banking institution to be keeping up with their competitors and the other banks available. I would definitely recommend shopping around to find a bank that suits your lifestyle and needs.

Visa portion in the account display used to show how much is currently charged on the Visa (was shown below the main Balance Available) with the this amount changing immediately if either a charge was made or a credit was applied. Now, it takes a few days for the main Balance Available amount to change do to “posting” time, but knowing the total amount currently charged on the Visa at that exact moment was (and is) critical. Now, when I apply a credit to the Visa, it shows NOTHING changed on my balance! This is misleading and causes issues! Another person on the account could see nothing changed, apply another credit and now you have over paid! The last credit I applied to the Visa has not shown posted to the account and it has been over four days ago. This was NOT an issue before UFCU update and defiantly not an improvement. Also, when contacting UFCU through the app, it would be approximately 24 hours and I would receive a reply. Now it may take a few days.
