I have several cameras set around the farm and this app lets me switch between them quickly and pan around to check if my livestock are all alive and not at my neighborsAlso running the sound overnight when I am expecting new births helps a lot too. I wish it wouldn't auto lock my phone though. Even if my phone is set to never auto lock this app still will. if it didn't it'd be 5 starBecause of my hills checking my self used to take along time driving a jeep or tab around.

Baby shopping is so expensive so wherever you can cut corners helps because you are going to need that money for diapers and formula. So we got the TRENDnet Wireless N Network Surveillance Camera with 1-Way Audio and Night Vision. Pros: > It has an app so you can see the camera from your phone wherever you are > The camera is very clear and switches well from night time to day time> Camera is a great price ($50ish) compared to all those baby cameras. > Security on the camera is good so that people don't hack your camera and watch your baby. (A friend of mine had that happen...creepy people out there). Cons: > A little tricky to set up. You have to set up and IP for the camera. So you have to be relatively tech savvy or call an uncle like we did. > Audio is staticky so we just got a cheap Vtech communications audio monitor for like $30. Still with the two devices it's half the price of most baby monitors. And a lot of baby monitors are not good quality. Overall it does what it's intended to do and it works well and we can watch my baby from anyone's device as long as they download this app and we give them our password.

App has worked well on iPhone 5s with newer Trendnet ip cams. Would be a five star review except for two really big drawbacks:1. Needs a sort feature for the camera list. It'll accept 30+ cameras, but good luck organizing them. 2. Undelete. The center delete button next to the check all button makes it way too easy to delete all camera connections accidentally. Any sort of recovery would be helpful. Spent hours re inputting parents cams from accidental deletes. Maybe just a confirmation, are you sure you want to delete these camera connections? That would be much better than a live grenade (delete button) under moms thumb. Lord knows you can make pop ups, like the rate this app pop up that will hopefully go away after writing this. ;)

Approximately 7 years ago I purchased six ip cameras from Trendnet. The cameras worked great for several years (and still do, many years later). The problem is that Trendnet no longer supports the apps that enable viewing. I contacted tech/customer support and the rep told me that I had to buy new cameras because they would not update the app to work with the latest ios. So, now I have several hundred dollars worth of perfectly good but useless equipment. I have a personal policy of never purchasing products from any company that abandons its customers.Still no updates!!! Don’t buy trendnet, they will leave you force you to buy new cameras in a few years by not supporting them in the apps.
