Timer freezes

App is great, useful and nice features. But…. When you’re using the timer ( cold or sauna) and you leave the app - say you want to browse for music while in the sauna or watch a podcast - the timer doesn’t keep going in the background. It freezes! That’s terrible, seems easy to fix, and who just wants to keep it on the timer screen the whole time. Cold plunge I can see, it’s a short time frame, but the sauna 🤔. Get this fixed and it’s an easy 5 stars, but the timer is one of the draws to this app!Update: timer works flawlessly when you move out of the plunge app into other apps! Thanks for the update team! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

App is great, useful and nice features. But…. Tub AWESOME - Standard Chiller ABHORRENT

Sadly, I wanted going to give Rave reviews and cannot 🥺 the tub is so comfortable and super great at the XL. Sadly, I think the standard chiller is a scam because this is my second one (within initial first set up. I’ve had the tub for a month and only been able to successfully plunge once because of all the chiller problems and now they graciously sent me a new chiller after customer service was very very nice but again it must be that they’re trying to sell you on their higher price products even though this is already mega expensive! I really think they make the standard chiller subpar to the original chiller & maybe they are just trying to make me upgrade by $4000?!? no satisfaction, and unfortunately no availability to plunge and get relief. in that case sadly I must return the entire plunge… sadly and deeply dissatisfied with the chiller/ the main mechanism of the product FUNCTIONING 😩 don’t waste your stress or money sadly unless you are Bajillion ire and can just buy the top dollar one because I’m sure they probably put more time and attention into making sure that those work for their clients

Sadly, I wanted going to give Rave reviews and cannot 🥺 the tub is so comfortable and super great at the XL. Love my plunge all in but the app is just so limited. Very little data and reports; it offers this high level view of the week, month but I can’t even find a list of my plunges with respective detail. It does not sync or export to Apple health and I can’t export a list of plunges either. The reason. I’d like this level of detail is I’m methodical on how much and what temp. I’m setting goals and tracking/correlating to heart rate. Would be really cool if you can set up hours and the temp you want the plunge to be at. For example 50 degrees throughout the night and then 40 degrees at a certain time you plunge at so the system doesn’t have to keep working to keep it at 40. There are just so many features they could have but at least the plunge itself has been amazing. Keep improving the app please!!!5/8 lost 2 days of plunge entries and no way to manually create them except to run the timer but it won’t be on the same day. 🥲

While the unit itself works well, I find two features hugely inconvenient and regrettable as both should be very easy features for plunge to fix from a technical perspective. First, there’s no on/off button. To tie the unit off entirely, you need to unplug it from the wall. If I’m not using it for 3 days due to work and other scheduling issues, it’s wasteful and noisy to have to run the motor because there’s no way to turn it off on the unit. Secondly, it only connects to WiFi on 2.4GHz. However, the vast majority of home WiFi units, including eero, run on 5GHz so while they promote WiFi connectivity, it’s not really the case. I was able to register the product by putting my home network into 2.4GHz, but as soon as the network changed back to 5, the plunge went offline. Again, this is something that the Plunge technical team needs to come up with a solution for. It’s 2026!

These are fair points. On the power question: we hear you that an on/off toggle (or at minimum a standby mode) would make a real difference for people who aren't using the unit daily. With version 4.5, we introduced Eco Mode for the All-In and Pro Chiller, which automatically reduces energy use between scheduled sessions. It's not a full power-off, but it's a meaningful step toward what you're describing. On the Wi-Fi side, you're right that 2.4GHz-only is a limitation. Most modern routers do support both bands, and many can be configured to keep a 2.4GHz network available alongside 5GHz, but we understand that's not ideal. It's on our radar.
