I have spent countless hours so many since I first got this wonderful device. I worked in healthcare and I always recommend Recommended lifeline over any other medical alert system. It's the best. However I've spent countless hours trying to get basic tasks completed. And the customer service reps can't even help me. I tried to change my credit card information and even the customer service person either tells me I need to wait 24 to 48 hours to have them call me back. I have done that three times over the past six weeks and no one ever calls me. As I say this basic task of changing my credit card information has not been possible. The page on the app is encrypted so the customer can enter it. The only way the Customer Service) people can help you is to enter your credit card information for you. People want their information private. I would recommend a complete overhaul of this app and training the customer service people on how to work with the app. This is a serious flaw and quite frankly I've run out of patience this is not how I want to spend my time. I may have to find another service. I expected more of Lifeline as they are such a reputable company. Please get your act together Lifeline.

We have the Lifeline service for 2 reasons - fall detection and locating a parent when they have not come home. GPS location shown in the Lifeline app is consistently wrong. When my parents are home, the app shows them across the street or next door - not helpful to emergency personnel in case of a fall. When they are out and about, their reported location is minutes to an hour behind their actual location, and “refresh” button doesn’t change anything. I called customer service and was told *they* do have the actual location even though the app doesn’t. But customer service isn’t able to pass my concern on to whoever is in charge of app development. We have switched to this service because insurance pays for it. We used Lively before and they had a much more useful app and excellent customer service.

If I could give this app negative stars I would. Whoever developed this app is a sadist. There’s no search function. There are instructions for how to check payment methods but no option to do so. There’s no way to edit caregiver information on the app. Since they did away with the website, the only way to accomplish anything is to call them and wait on eternal hold. What company doesn’t allow a user to update or enter payment info? Pro tip to lifeline execs… Companies that make their products difficult to use and easy to leave don’t stay in business.

As many others have written on the internet this is a bad app. It doesn’t allow you to enter your info to create an account. I have never seen this on any app but this app and calling into support doesn’t help. Many people have posted this same problem and nothing is done about it!! How can a user unfreeze the page so they can create an account????
