FallCall Lite was the FIRST medical alert app for Apple Watch with subscription access to an emergency call center. Fall detection planned for future release.

These words can strike fear in the hearts of both those who are injured and the Caregivers around them. What’s even more frightening: not being able to contact help when you need it.

The physicians who founded our company were frustrated with many of the “help buttons” on the market because many were not used or were stigmatizing. We wanted to create something that was simple, downloadable, and provided a new era of engagement with both Caregivers and subscription monitoring services.

Subscription Central Monitoring Service Features:**
•No more paperwork! Signup, Caregiver changes, primary Caregiver designations & subscription cancellation can all be performed from your iPhone!
•24/7 Central Monitoring service staffed by trained Emergency Medical Dispatchers to get you the help you need.***
•Along with verbal communication, the latest technology (PSAP-Public Service Answering Point) are deployed with location services to help determine the resources you need.*
•Upon pressing the “Help” button, the Central Monitor will receive the signal through a HIPAA compliant server, not a classic phone call.
•Real-time electronic text updates are sent to all Care Group members during an event.
•Backup phone calls to Caregivers.
•Monthly subscription is approximately half the cost of most medical alert buttons on the market($14.99/mo).
•Call Center system testing from your Apple Watch.

Subscription details:
•Your Subscription Service starts when it is activated through the FallCall Lite App. Service will remain in effect for a minimum of one (1) month from the date of activation after which it may be terminated by either you or FallCall Solutions for any reason. If subscription service is terminated by FallCall Solutions, you will receive written notification within thirty days of termination.
•Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
•Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period
•Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal
•Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase
•Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to FallCall Lite, where applicable

*As with all location-based services, it may not always be possible to determine your location. Multi-level buildings, parking garages, & even dense urban areas can make it difficult for satellites and cell phone towers to locate your exact location. FallCall Lite is intended for use only in the 50 United States.

**FallCall lite is not a replacement for 9-1-1. If 9-1-1 is necessary, FallCall Solutions recommends contacting 9-1-1 directly.

Wanted it to work

Really really wanted this app to work but I can't seem to get it to work properly with my Apple Watch. It also notifies my caregiver if I cancel a call - do not like that feature.
It's gone until they do some upgrades.

We apologize that you had a frustrating experience. Regarding the cancel call feature, that was a requested feature from a variety of Caregivers as evidence that their connected Elder is using the app. Although we try to design for the masses, perhaps the feature can be turned off with a toggle switch in settings. Phone passcode.

Having an app wants my phone lock passcode without an option to continue without giving it. This is a crazy security flaw and a reason I’m deleting the app.

Hello-We appreciate your comment but want to clarify: The passcode we ask you to register a Caregiver with within the app IS NOT the iPhone passcode unlock!!! This is any 4 digit number that you wish to enter in order to unlock the app. We use this to protect any data that a Caregiver receives from their paired Elder. I thank you for the comment.
