Good device, bad mobile media player

the device runs well, server has run fantastic and overall have been very pleased, but the media player on mobile devices might be the worst thing i have ever tried to use. fix that and it would be perfect. the media player would pop up with a loading symbol repeatedly and pause my video after 3 seconds of use, if it didn’t have that problem it would be extremely choppy and repeat frames while distorting audio. other times the audio wouldn’t be in sync with the video, and would be 10 seconds behind.

App broke media center, no backups, etc

I spent hour on the media center before the update the name. After the update and new change to the app I completely destroy my libraries. What I’m supposed to spend 3 hours everytime you guys update an app to reorganize everything? Absolutely unacceptable Honestly I used to say the nas was 5 stars but it nowhere near it. They don’t have a actual backup system for external harddrives…. Seriously like it’s 1995 that’s embarrassing for a big company not to have a basic feature and there no timetable to it. They need to get it together otherwise I’ll build my own nas and tell everyone not to get this nas. It’s honestly a shame but to many tedious thing has been happening as of late. The product been out for well over a year this is not a beta product anymore. A bughere and there isn’t ok but tolerable. Core issues like not external back up and the shenanigans with the media center is not ok

App is just fine and often gets updated. People seem to forget that this is still a new system and it’s going to take a bit to get all the extra features and bugs out of it. I’ve had nothing but good with this system and runs great, all the docker apps work flawlessly, Jellyfin, jellyseer, sonar, radar and qbit, I don’t use the app for all the features that’s what a PC is for, where you can access the web page and folders in a network drive. I’m assuming these whining users giving the app 1 star are trying to run the entire nas system through the app which is just a silly concept.

I was concerned about my purchase shortly after when I had read negative reviews for both the device, and even more so, this app. Thankfully, the device and app have both been easy to navigate, understand, and with a little research, utilize to the fullest extent. I’m now a huge fan of UGREEN and look forward to purchasing more of their products in the future. That said, I have read complaints about a lack of customer service on another platform; however, because I’ve had absolutely no need to contact their customer service, I’m unable to comment on this matter.

1. Video Player: Added double-tap on the left/right side of the screen to fast forward/rewind by 15 seconds, enhancing the viewing experience. 2. Files: Network folders now support cloud drive mounting, compatible with "115 Life" app. 3. Fixed an issue where some videos appeared stretched during playback. 4. Comics: Fixed an issue where zooming an image in "Top to bottom" mode would cause improper screen fitting after changing the reading direction. 5. Fixed an issue where the progress bar did not appear on the far right when reading comics without browsing history in "Right-to-left" reading direction. 6. Comics: Fixed an issue where, after enabling the feature of "Crop white edge" and setting the reading direction to "Top to bottom", the height of some images was stretched. 7. Fixed some known issues to improve user experience.
