Good game but needs more developer love.

Although I have many personal issues with the game I will inevitably play and spend money on this Avatar branded civilization game. The most prominent issue in my eyes is the lack of PVE (story modes). Even if it’s daily towers that rested just to get players on every day experiencing the combat element everyone hoped for the game would benefit. Rather the only new content seems to be packs and bundles with skins. The other issue that holds this game back is the minimal use and importance of elemental type. Rather than flat statistic boost add a new or multiple constructions that differ to the background chosen. Water can have access to another elemental tree of spiritual researchable(s) that add to skills of water benders and their healing choses (faster for more and longer for no resources). Earth benders can have access to boot camp training that increases the attack skills and durability of earth benders. Also increasing the construction speed of all construction based upon level of f boot camp (Dai Lee treatment or some name). The last major issue is lack of new characters. I do understand this is a small team but still there needs to be some level of give back when many players waste thousands on this game. Even I would love to intern and help in any way possible with bringing this game the life it deserves being one of Americas greatest cartoon brands/brands overall and being the first semi polished mobile game.

Forces u to go up against ppl with higher power in bai sing se arena even when before u kicked on the challenge button there power was reading below yours. But then when the battle starts they are suddenly 200k power above u and u know ur gonna lose. Rigged so it forces u to lose in a way u have no control over. Guy could say 500k then once the battle starts he’s magically at 700k. Just the game lying so ppl will waste their challenges. Not a big deal but stupid. Def pay to win. Doesn’t let you talk in world chat till ur HQ 15 and link ur account. This makes it so the only ppl talking in the chat are rich exploitative capitalists who they control the chat while nobody can respond. Def creates means to target children with influence and projection while preventing anybody without money from standing up to those with it. Probably so they can trick kids who are to young to know any better with addictive money wasting behaviors when they don’t understand the value of what they wasting.It’s possible the game is still decent even with the in game app. You will just never have any means to really compete without in app purchases. It’s FarmVille against ai. Which is still sorta ffun. But honestly the rich ruin everything.

UI is horrendous

As a game developer- this game needs SERIOUS polish. I know it’s launch day as of writing this, but the ui is lacking- it’s extremely unresponsive, low rez, has no juicing/animations, and the text font looks like the school computers default font. Chat is a bit finicky to handle properly. Story is nonexistent, considering the main villain is never once mentioned in the avatar series. Would be cool if you fought the fire nation like in the series, or at least the villains from legend of korra. I am not a huge fan of how unsafe freshly spawned players are. I spawn in and 40 people with 2 million power are right next to me. At least put us in a starting alliance and give us a free teleport. Also, extremely pay to win. Right off spawn, I can’t even have a second builder without paying 4 dollars. Even Lords mobile and RoK don’t do that. One thing I do like is that there are T6 units unlike RoK’s normal max T5 units. Battle system in campaign is really clunky to be honest and needs work. The idea is there, but the execution is not. It needs serious polish, so please go back to the dev engine, pull out your IDE of choice and fix the game. Add proper juicing and ui fixes, and maybe I can bump it up to a 4.

disappointing

been waiting a long time for this game to come out, I even had it on pre-order but its very disappointing. the gameplay is the same as clash of clans. you get a army of several of the same exact characters and the only difference is its avatar themed. no hate to clash of clans if thats what you like then you will probably like this, i just expected more from them than a remake of a preexisting game with some added animations that were kinda lazy in themselves too, there is several moments where you are going and getting benders or something like that and it’s literally 10 of the exact same guy. theres no pvp, you dont get to actually do any fighting, no free map exploring, you dont get to learn any kind of bending, no customization for your character, the dialogue is not at all like the characters its based on and crucial lore from the shows is inaccurate or just ignored. i do like the plot idea but not how the game is just a tycoon. the potential was high but ultimately reminiscent of the first live action, had all the potential but ended up being thrown together and disappointing.
