First and more once again the turtle beach audio hub/app is outrageously complex. I selected 1/5 star review for this. It selected 5/5. It is not a 5/5 experience. The instructions seem simple to solve your issues for updates/recovery issues. I spend I’m not sure how much time trying to recover and reset the headphones just for it to identify correctly on Bluetooth pairing options. The mobile audio app is worthless and doesn’t tell you what needs to be done. So you must reach out to turtle beach support. They never respond to emails. You can’t really call them for phone services to explain your problems and get help. Absolutely insanity to try and navigate issues on your own when it comes to poor integration throughout desktop/mobile prompts. God awful

I forgot to update my headset about 2 years ago. The headset then proceeded to not turn on. Once I updated it with the installer a month later it renamed my headset to 0 0. The audio hub app can no longer find my headset thus locking me out of adjusting the settings. This wouldn’t be an issue if I could adjust it through Xbox but without the app being connected the settings are greyed out. The only setting I can adjust is my volume with the wheel and albeit finicky the other wheel for game and party audio mixing. My biggest issue is not being able to adjust the headsets mic monitoring and output. I’ve had this issue for the past 2 years and have been searching for ways to fix the issue. It’s all the same thing being discussed for Bluetooth fixes and not the audio hub or headset. My headset and controller combined cost as much if not more than my console a one s. Purchasing a new pair of headphones when the current pair works just fine but because of an app not working limits your ability to adjust settings is frustrating.

The hardware is great. The quality is there and they sound amazing (when they work). Although the software still has some bugs.This is the third pair of headphones I have had replaced because of the issues they have. I was told the firmware update would resolve them. The firmware has been updated even though there was no prompt stating so. After the loading and updating screens finished, the transmitter and the headphones continued flashing green simultaneously. I waited for several minutes for this to stop, but they just kept on flashing. Then I tried plugging the headphones and transmitter into the Xbox to see if they worked any better. Unfortunately not. These are the issues I am still having:1) occasionally upon start up the headphones power down automatically.2) when turning on headphones and connecting them to the Xbox, many times the Xbox sound volume is nonexistent or very low. I need to turn the headphones on and off sometimes two or three times before the sound volume is correct.3) when using the headphones with my iPhone via Bluetooth. When I finish dictating a text The media player/music player starts up automatically. So as soon as I finish dictating a text, music starts.I thought the firmware update was supposed to resolve these or some of these issues, but still having problems. And this is my third pair.

Game chat stopped working. Was only able to communicate through party chat on Xbox. Tried to finally do the update to fix game chat issue. NEEDS A PC to do the update. Is it not 2024?!. Used to do it through the Xbox settings on previous turtle beach headsets. How come the Turtle Beach Control Center 2 app cannot update the headset?. How come the app from the phone or tablet cannot update the headset?. Went over to my parents and borrowed my dads laptop to do the update. Downloaded it to his laptop and it says it’s updated. Got back home powered on the Xbox. Launched the app on my phone, says it still need the update. I dismissed it thinking it just a pop up. Still didn’t work. Tried playing multiple games to see if it worked for game chat and it still doesn’t pick up my mic. I can hear the game but mic does not work. Only in party chat. Makes playing cross-play annoying cannot hear anyone. Any fix for this?.
