This app works well for the most part and it is greatly appreciated. One problem I’d like to see fixed is sorting by availability is not working. I still need to scroll through all the boats to see which one are available. UPDATE: Recently I worked with the developer via the main office and this sort option has been fixed. Thanks! Rating upgraded.

App Needs to be Better – Missing Basic Functions

The iPhone app doesn’t have any ability to get on the waitlist, which is the list I’m typically on.We love the concept of Freedom Boat Club, but the math no longer works for a Seattle summer. There is a clear bottleneck during prime boating hours (2–6PM) where member demand heavily outweighs boat availability.Restricting availability mostly to morning slots (10AM–2PM) doesn't align with how people actually boat here. At $5,000 a year, paired with recent price increases, getting on the water just once or twice a season isn't a sustainable return on investment. We hope the club will adjust fleet sizes to better serve afternoon demand, but unfortunately, we will be canceling our membership for the upcoming year.

The app does not let you sign in. It always says wrong password even though the password works on the website.Update: the developers reached out to me and got the issue resolved. Very helpful. Works well now.

Good app, some enhancements would be nice

For the most part the app works great. Great for making reservations and finding locations on the map respective to your area.I really wish the app would allow for reviews of the actual boats and to allow you to add to waitlist. It would also be helpful if you could access the address of the club on your reservations.
We’ve expanded our search and reservation functionality to Europe! Members can now easily find and reserve boats across European locations directly in the mobile app. Plus, members in North America, Australia, and New Zealand can now book reciprocal trips at these locations, making international boating more accessible than ever.
