I think it’s great that Paisley Park has an app, really, I do, however; I gave it 3 stars due to basic functionality challenges that have been globally solved well over a decade ago. The biggest frustration is the schedule view. Users shouldn’t have to take a screenshot just to zoom in and read event details. Pinch-to-zoom and readable formatting are standard features that have been around for well over a decade.I’m also confused by the merchandise section. What’s the point of displaying merch if users can’t click on items to learn more or make a purchase? It feels like a missed opportunity and creates a disconnected user experience.The app has a lot of potential, but it needs a refresh right out of the gate. Improving basic usability and adding interactive shopping functionality would go a long way toward making it a more useful and enjoyable experience.
