This app is integral to our safety and security, I appreciate the fact that you can report them in order to get them listed on this map making a real difference, if I remember correctly a town banned the construction of flock cameras, after they left the cameras up anyways and in response the city put bags around them. This app will help us in the event of another town banning them and the same events repeat themselves. Keep yourself informed and be sure to do your part and spread awareness. Many people I talk to don’t even know what flock is and that alone is concerning to me. Talk to your neighbors and family in order to spread the status quo

*U.S. anthem playing with VHS distortion in the background* Are you tired of authoritarian demagogues pretending that your rights don’t exist? Do you feel the need to step up and cheese some solar panels? Whelllll then THIS is the app for you! See flock camera positions with user generated GPS data, plan a route to a camera near you if you’re up for some cheesing, and report new flock cameras that aren’t on the map yet! If you feel like you’re being spied on, “flock around and find out!” Stay safe out there, and GOD BLESS AMERICA! 🇺🇸 🦅 *eagle screech* *anthem concludes*

POLICE ARE MANIPULATING CAMS

As a developer since 2008 I used ushahidi map pins when it started this brand of mapping. I know the pitfalls and I drive everywhere. You should not allow delete unless confirmed by several users or add a pic feature to show the camera there and any camera with a confirmed pic can not be deleted because police are deleting the flock pins in black neighborhoods. Look at small towns in NC and notice that every time you see train tracks you see no cameras on one side of the tracks. The black sides. I can’t put all the black neighborhood cameras in by myself. What is concerning is that some of these police actually live in the black neighborhood

Developer Response
That is highly concerning; please reach out via email with some of this info so we can properly discuss how to handle it.

Notifications not working

This is generally a nice app, but the notifications do not appear to work, at least with the most current version of iOS. Even though I have enabled notifications for this app, the toggle in the advanced setting says that notifications are disabled. Also, the dialogue indicates that notifications will still appear when the app is running, although they will not appear when the app is running in the background. This does not work either. My main interest in using this app is to be informed when I am approaching a camera, so I hope this is resolved quickly. By the way, I am using the latest version of this app.

Developer Response
We finally found the problem and this should be fixed very soon.

We finally found the problem and this should be fixed very soon.

- Fix FOV-only changes not registering as a change. - Fix notifications to aid in removal of nonexistent cameras; still basic radius check. - Track and notify on recent changeset comments, add a "new notifications" popup message.
