Schedule accuracy and alerts, improved: • Fixed an issue where the board could still show trains on a day a line wasn't actually running, such as a planned track closure • Service alerts now cover every Metra line, not just Union Pacific Northwest • New: choose to see alerts for just your favorite lines or all of Metra, right from the Alerts tab • The board and schedule now say plainly when a route has no service that day, instead of implying the last train already left

Reliability improvements for the Lock Screen Live Activity: • The Live Activity now reliably shows Arrived and cleans itself up after your ride, instead of sometimes lingering on the Lock Screen • Fixed a display issue where the countdown could briefly read a broken "now" instead of a clean status

This update adds Precise on-board tracking, an optional feature that uses your location while you ride to make get-off alerts more reliable, even in the background: • Turn on Precise on-board tracking and Get-off alert in Settings, then confirm you're riding when prompted, or let the app detect it automatically as you board • Get-off alerts fire reliably even when your phone is locked or in your pocket • Tracking reverts to standard mode automatically if you're not actually on the tracked train • Your location never leaves your device

This update fixes several issues: • Switching lines in the Schedule tab now always shows upcoming trains. Some lines could look empty before. • Fixed "Route unavailable" when tracking certain trains, including Ravinia Park service. • Favorite boards no longer disappear if the schedule briefly fails to load. • Station departures on the map now show every line that serves a station.

Fixed an issue where get-off alerts could sometimes arrive twice for the same trip. Improved reliability of get-off alert timing.

Minor UI tweaks and stability improvements.

Live train tracking is now more accurate and reliable: • Get-off alerts fire at the right stop, timed to your train's real position — and now come through even while you have the app open. • Late trains are clearly marked late, with arrival times that reflect real-time delays. • The in-app view and your Live Activity stay in sync as the train moves. • Live predicted arrival times on the per-stop rail, from Metra's real-time feed. • Clearer wording when live data isn't available yet, so the countdown never looks stuck. • Tap your Live Activity to jump straight to the tracking view. • The progress bar and "stops away" count work on every Metra line.

• The Dynamic Island now shows your tracked train in a slimmer pill. • Fixed a Schedule bug where you couldn't reach the stations at the very top or bottom of a line's list.

Introducing the Map. • A new Map tab shows every Metra line, with your saved lines highlighted. • Tap a station for live departures; tap a line to jump to its schedule. • Locate yourself on the map with one tap. • Schedule now opens to a favorite route automatically.

Get-off alerts and Live Activity improvements. • New: get-off alert — get a notification N stops before your destination, even when the app is in the background or your phone is locked. Set your heads-up window in Settings → Alerts. • Live Activity now stays in sync with the app's view while you're using the app. • Fixed: Live Activity could incorrectly show "Arrived" for a train that was still several stops away. • Fixed: tapping the Live Activity banner after the app was idle could open the app with no tracking.

Two looks, your choice. • New "Flapboard" theme: a split-flap departure-board style with glowing amber tiles, the way the old station boards used to flip. Turn it on in Settings → Appearance. • Classic stays the default, so your board looks just as it did until you decide to switch. • Your theme carries through to the Lock Screen Live Activity. • Plus: smoother scrolling and a cleaner date picker in the Schedule tab.

A big polish and accessibility update: • Full Dynamic Type — the board scales with your text-size setting • VoiceOver: every departure is now a labeled, tappable control, and live status is spoken (never color alone) • The next-train card leads with the countdown, so your time-to-train reads at a glance • Live tracking puts the train's current position front and center • Clearer service alerts — the most urgent first — with calmer on-time styling • Faster, more consistent visuals throughout
