Cooking should feel like having someone in the kitchen with you — not squinting at a screen with garlic on your hands.
Simmernook is a voice cooking companion. Pick a dish, prop up your phone, and just start cooking. It talks you through every step at your pace, sets and checks your timers, and answers whatever you ask — completely hands-free. It's like cooking next to a friend who's made this a hundred times.
WHAT IT DOES
• Guides you step by step, out loud — no scrolling, no greasy screen
• Sets timers by voice: "set a timer for 9 minutes," "how long's left?"
• Answers questions mid-cook: "how much garlic?", "does this look right?"
• Keeps up with you — say when you're behind or ahead and it adjusts
• Talks with you naturally, so you can just think out loud
MADE FOR REAL KITCHENS
• Talk over it anytime to interrupt or jump ahead
• Mute with one tap when you need quiet — it waits
• The full written recipe is always a tap away
• Timers show on screen so you can glance while it counts down
NO FUSS
• Three free cooks to start
• No account, no login, no sign-up — just open it and cook
• A hand-picked menu of dishes to start, with more on the way
Prop up your phone, pick something good, and cook like someone's right there with you.
