SeaStatus reads the water — live wind, waves, tide, and visibility for every waterway that ramp reaches. Get your answer — Go, Caution, or No-go, with the reason spelled out in plain language. WHAT YOU GET • Every waterway checked — every water your ramp reaches (river, ICW, nearshore) gets its own Status, not lumped into one number for the whole area. • Best launch window — the calmest stretch of today, so you launch when wind, tide, and waves actually line up. • Today's tide — the next high and low, and whether it's rising, falling, or slack, right now. • Marine warnings — Small Craft Advisories and other NWS marine warnings for your zone, pulled live. • 7-day outlook (Pro) — the same Status, day by day, so you can plan next weekend's trip with real numbers instead of a vague icon. • Trip mode (Pro) — turn on monitoring when you head out, and SeaStatus keeps re-checking conditions and flags it the moment things start turning. • Live cameras (Pro) — where they're available, a real camera feed sits right on your ramp's page so you can eyeball the water yourself. BUILT ON REAL MARINE DATA Wind, gusts, and wave height come from NOAA NDBC buoys. Tides come from NOAA CO-OPS stations. Marine warnings and forecasts come straight from the National Weather Service. Every reading is weighted by waterway type and by your specific boat — not averaged into a single regional forecast. What’s New in 1.0.4 Camera links now open in a sheet inside the app, so you can check a live cam and get right back to your spot. Signing in is simpler. The magic-link option is gone, and if your email isn’t confirmed yet, you can send yourself a new confirmation email from the sign-in screen. Bug fixes and small improvements.
