For those who have constant crashing when opening the app, delete it and reinstall it. That fixed the issue for me. The constant crashing was annoying, but as long as reinstalling fixed, I should be ok. Hope it doesn’t do it again.

Update: I already tried the steps listed in the developer response. They do not work! Maybe it’s because they have a very limited and outdated list of cell carriers to choose from? (Virgin mobile no longer does business in the USA and neither of my carriers is on the list)Original: Customers are no longer allowed to know the balances of their accounts without having work for it. Nor will they ever be notified how much is debited or credited when it occurs. The most anyone is told in the useless notifications is that a debit/credit over $X (the # set) happened recently to the account with the last two digits XX, or that the balance for account ending in XX is over/under/exactly $X. You will also never get the non-information in texts as requested, only push notices that you cannot keep and refer back to. We already have to memorize our member number; we should not have to also memorize five (or more) other longer numbers!!The app and notifications used to be useful. Whoever designed the “improvements” must be addicted to tinder (or other dating apps) because we now have to swipe a lot in order to see our accounts - they are no longer just there on the Home Screen/first screen immediately after logging in. Velocity seems to be trying to make us work for our information and wants us to keep logging in all day every day to find out anything. Calls to them are useless because they will not let us talk to tech support. The first tier “customer support” insists on being an intermediary. If I have to do that much work EVERY DAY to know what is in my accounts, I will just put that work into finding another credit union that actually cares and will text to me daily balance notifications and immediate notifications when someone is taking money from me!

This is the worst bank app I have ever used. It use to work fine until they updated it. Now I cannot even take a pic of a check to deposit w/o going to full screen mode whatever that means. There is no full screen mode in the app. The real kicker is the way that they force you to change by making the app NOT WORK. No notification. No warning. No explanation. Just make the customer figure it out! This is the second time this month that they did this. Maybe they are so big now they don't care if you bank with them or not. I heard UFCU app was better

They have been a difficult to work with in terms of red tape and unnecessary steps. Their technology also seems antiquated, freezes or doesn’t work often, and their money transfer takes 2-3 days longer than other banks. Even when you “schedule” it for a certain day, it doesn’t deposit until 1-3 days after that date. When trying to transfer money their system doesn’t let you see the full name of the accounts in the drop down menus. It also won’t let you plan the transfer into the next month, if you are trying to transfer on a Friday or have met the $5000 limit for the day and have to spread it out, because their system doesn’t let you pick a month. Their business credit card was pretty terrible as well. They took 5-days to verify a checking account when trying to add one to pay the balance. The technology was similarly archaic, minimal useful features like secure messaging, spend notifications, spending categories, etc. the formatting was off as well - not great on a lap top, but pretty horrible on a phone or tablet.
