- Use the online check-in to receive your boarding pass directly in the app. Use it to go directly to the baggage drop-off counter at the airport or walk straight to the gate with your hand baggage. Store your boarding pass securely in your smartphone wallet.

While it is now possible to bock a flight through the app, certain necessary features still do not work. Adding your API is impossible. At least for flights originating in USA. Adding birthday and passport expiration is cumbersome since the app changes input dates. I put in 17. 04 and the app records 16. 04. Should be easy to create a workable app since there are plenty out there from other airlines.

Frankly, this is a poor app. You can usually get what you want eventually, but you have to be patient for data to load (with no indication that anything is loading) and you have to accept that it is likely to crash a few times When checking in through the app I eventually got to the part where we were to get our boarding passes. The ‘add to wallet’ function didn’t work, so I had to have emails sent to myself and my wife, then we clicked on a link in our respective emails, which loaded a page that had a link to add the boarding passes to our wallets. Mine put my boarding passes in my wallet. My wife’s email link also put MY boarding passes in her wallet. I had to go back not another part of the app to access all of the boarding passes to my wallet and then Airdrop a copy to my wife. Honestly I think Condor hired Elon’s boys to ‘develop’ the app while they were playing beer pong.

I have issues with the on line booking. I pick a date and if I need to go back and look at the details the website takes you back to the current date. A mistake was made by me and I booked the flight the day it went back to and I paid for a trip to Rome the very next day. I booked the mistake the evening of the 8th of July to fly out on the 9th of July. I was booking for September 9th not July. So now I am not able to get a refund even though I had purchased the ticket not even 24 hours before. It’s very difficult when the web site goes back to the current date. Now I lose money on two seats that went to Rome empty.
Poor Functionality

To add your reservation on the app you need to enter the reservation number and date of flight. This is not possible if you are flying on a Saturday because their pop up calendar does not show Saturdays. I have a regular size iPhone no luck. Tried on my wife’s jumbo iPhone and it shows properly. The calendar pop up does not scale correctly for a standard size iPhone and you it does not have the option to type the date in directly. Absolutely no way to load the boarding pass on my phone.
