The FleetSharp app is a companion application to the FleetSharp GPS tracking system. The easy-to-use app lets you locate and monitor your fleet vehicles directly from your iPhone or iPad. Great idea, poor implementation

The app has obviously not been stress tested in a beta mode before release. Clicking the “help” button within the 3 dots settings menu crashes the app. Setting Geofences is a pain, and there are a variety of situations where it will erase an incomplete geofence if you click the wrong thing. Then for general use on the browser it’s also pretty cumbersome. I was hoping for a more streamlined product than samsara, but it’s still not great. When generating an API token for use with other products, the API token doesn’t display the full list of characters, making it impossible to pull this token. Admittedly, I’m trying to do this on my iPad and assume there’s a problem with the webpage display preventing this, but the company should be aware of how many managers use an iPad for work on the go, and make it iPad-friendly. Look, beta testing as a process is not optional for apps. Just like in the video game industry, release of a half-baked product can do more harm to your business long-term than delaying until it’s truly ready. It’s too late for that, but fixes need to be implemented asapEdit: I checked version history and hot dang, this app has been live for 2 years and there’s still this many bugs?? Dang. Cmon guys

I hate to leave a bad review on anything, but this is a service I pay monthly for and I would expect better. The app shows my truck in erroneous places on the map. They take forever to load and I always have to delete and re install the app because it stops sending me geofence notifications. This is one of those apps you really wished would work but is a big let down.

…even if you want to increase the number of trackers. You will not get a response from this company. We used them for over 2 years and needed to add trackers and literally couldn’t get a call back or response to emails. Nothing. Had to cancel and go elsewhere (Clearpath - although their app isn’t as good - at least had customer support!)

This release adds maintenance attachment support, allowing users to upload, preview, compress, manage photos and documents associated with completed service reminders. It also improves Active Reminder sorting, and adds precise time selection. Improves clearer error handling in Camera History, updates default navigation options, improves grace-period account handling, and includes several reliability and usability fixes. New Features/Functionality Improvements: • Maintenance Attachments: Users can now upload, preview, and delete photos or documents when completing service reminders. • Large Image Compression: Images over 10 MB can be compressed before uploading. • Improved Reminder Sorting: Active maintenance reminders are now automatically sorted by Next Service Due. • Camera History Time Picker: Users can select an exact time to begin Camera History playback. • Clearer Camera History Errors: Improved messaging explains when footage cannot load because a camera is no longer online. • Grace-Period Account Support: Users can continue accessing the app during an account grace period and will receive a notification that the account requires attention. • Updated Navigation: The default Bottom Navigation Bar and More menu options now provide easier access to commonly used features. • Authentication Improvements: Updates improve login and account reliability across supported brands. Fixed Issues: • Visit Summary emails now display a Summary Sent confirmation. • Restored the missing Group and Tracker filters in Geofence Activities. • Fixed the Dispatch option briefly disappearing when returning to the More menu. • Route Replay now displays No Trips Available instead of an unknown error when no trips exist. • Safety Score letter grades now match the customer portal.
