The level of reliability and peace of mind it offers makes it absolutely essential, and the execution is flawless.What sets this app apart is its consistent performance. When I need to check on my vehicle's location, status, or system health, it works every time, without fail or lag. The ability to instantly find my car in a massive parking lot or remotely verify that the doors are locked is incredibly convenient and dependable.The cross-platform support is also a massive win. Being able to access core functions directly from my smartwatches—whether I’m using the Apple Watch or my Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 (and newer models)—is a game-changer. Great App - A couple suggestions though…

Another suggestion for the talented development team. After sending a request could the response messages have “SENT” “SUCCESSFUL” “UNSUCCESSFUL” or other summary response displayed prominently at the top of the message above the wordy explanation of the request result. All that information is good but it’s difficult to glance at you phone or Apple Watch and find the word “success,” etc. to quickly get the result of requests. If, for example, a request is unsuccessful then the user can drill into the tiny details for more information. I think it’s safe to assume the user knows which request they are receiving a response to. The tiny spinner on the refresh button is way too small. It’s difficult to determine if it’s spinning and if you happen to send another request when it is you’ll get the error message stating another request is pending. Perhaps remove the spinner from the button, and/or make it larger or different so it’s clear what state the spinner is in. Also, activate the spinner for all types of requests. Also, it would be nice to be able to access the climate presets without having to use the climate start/stop button. Sometimes I accidentally send a start request when all I wanted to do is modify the presets. Otherwise, developers, nice job!

The update that happened recently is much better in design. Doesn’t feel as out dated but the auto start still feels insecure. I never know if my car will start. You also have to keep the app open and on the start screen to get an idea. But it can take a minute before starting. If I’m starting, I’m ready to leave soon and getting things together. So keeping the app open in front of me is abnormally possible. I’m still glad to have it but just feels a little insecure. As for the other status updates on the car, mine is under two years old. So it’s not quite to the point that issues are likely. The app will become more and more important to pay for the subscription once the car gets for years old or older. Still glad for what it has!

Works okay - some things don't seem to work as well anymore

First vehicle with the brand - a 2023 G70. Downloaded the app on both my phone and watch and fully set up. Was working flawlessly until a couple months ago. Watch app never works consistently - half the time fails to login saying I need to login on my phone (even though I am... and have been). In combination with the widgets provided by the app seemingly disappearing, and not available to re-add, makes this much less convenient to use and it no longer feels like it lives up to name of being the "Genesis Intelligent Assistant" app. As of recent, I seem to get logged out of the app every 30 days (or so) and I need to keep logging back in. I understand this likely to be a security thing, but I was never notified of a change like this - so I don't know if it's security for everyone, an issue with my account, device, or something entirely different. In general, it just feels like core features of the app are starting to regress, with no maintenance towards fixing it and no communication about it either. Maybe the experience is different for EV owners, but I can only speak for what I'm personally experiencing.
