At InBody, our goal is to bring evidence-based health and wellness data to more individuals so they can find health clarity that stretches far beyond a singular number on a scale. Using our mobile app in conjunction with one of our body composition analyzers or blood pressure monitors, users can directly measure muscle, fat, water, and blood pressure to see how these values, when combined with activity levels and nutritional habits, create a snapshot of whole body health. By regularly reviewing this information, individuals will be able to track progress over time and use this progress as momentum for continued, healthy improvement.
Use the InBody App to:
● Evaluate key summaries of recent InBody Tests, active minutes, and nutritional information from the new overview dashboard
● View historic data for body composition in up to one month increments
● Review accurate body composition testing results, graphs, and interpretations
● Monitor blood pressure levels by comparing test results over time
● Manage caloric outputs and monitor daily movement, such as step counts and active minutes, through our training log. Use values to see how they correlate with changes in body composition over time
● Record daily exercise and food intake using our digital tracking log
● See your national ranking and start healthy competitions with friends and family, based on your InBody Score and weekly step count
● Track sleep time by syncing the InBody BAND 2 with the app
What’s New
Hey there. You’re not alone during this transformative time. We’re currently undergoing some healthy composition changes to help further simplify your understanding of personal health and wellness.
Our new makeup looks a little something like:
- An improved app dashboard, which displays data on your latest InBody Tests, blood pressure outputs, daily activity levels, body composition goals, and nutritional progress.
- A blood pressure hub where you can review the history of your BP 170 and BP 250 test results.
- An updated Result Sheet that provides visual representations of changes in body composition analysis, including fluctuations in skeletal muscle, body fat, body water, and
more. *Please note: Output availability will vary depending on the InBody device used for testing.
- A graphic depiction of differences in segmental body composition that is available to testing facilities using LookinBody Web with an InBody 570 or 770 unit.
- A digital diet and exercise log that can be used to fit healthy changes into your current lifestyle. Within this section, you can also set attainable muscle and fat goals based on scientific data formulated by the InBody Clinical Research team. *Please note: The guide(s) are for reference purposes only and should not be taken as professional medical advice.
- An enhanced connection between your InBody wearable device and the app. By working together, these technologies can help you effectively track daily activity levels and sleep habits over time.
- An online training journal that you can use to record time spent exercising and analyze body composition changes in relation to activity type, time, and intensity.
- A way to see how you measure up. Use our national rankings board to start a friendly competition between peers at your testing facility, friends, or family members.

I enjoy the app and like the metrics that it provides. When adding a second user, it kinda works a little buggy. I Installed the app on my girlfriend’s phone and it sometimes “drops” her data. I added her as a second user on my phone and this seems to work sometimes but it oddly seems to “sync” to her phone a few minutes later. I would like to see her install the app and be able to use it seemlessly to track her data on her phone. I shouldn’t have to add her on my phone in order for her to track her data.Additionally, the female voice of the app sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t. I don’t know why.All and all, great scale and app….look forward to future updates.

Hello Dan, Thank you for your feedback! This tip may help when testing on your home scale, when switching phones please try connecting the app first to the scale and initiate the test from the app instead of from the scale. This should help in ensuring that the scale connects to the correct mobile device. You can also try temporarily disabling the Bluetooth from your phone so that your girlfriend's phone can connect to the scale completely and initiate the test from the app.Regarding your issue with voice guidance setting, if the setting is turned on and the voice does not start please contact us at App@InBody.com and our team would be more than happy to take a look into this for you!
Set up on iOS is rough.

I did the scan and the machine texted me a link. But the link sent me to a blank Safari page on my iPhone. Then I downloaded the app and registered, but the registration process was rough. I couldn’t get the keyboard to get out of the way to click next to go to the next screen. Finally figured out you have to tap multiple times outside of the text field to drop the keyboard so you can click next. Then it didn’t want to take the password word I created, had to reset my password. Finally made it into the data and I wanted to print the results to compare to a prior printout that I had from a gym that just printed the data on site. Instead of giving options for how you want to save it such as a PDF it saves to your photo.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by using the Inbody app.First of all, it is possible to check the original result in the in-body app only in the case of data automatically transmitted after measuring for in-body experts,You can save the resulting paper as an image file, not in PDF format. We will check the QR code recognition and login-related parts you inquired about in the direction of improvement so that you can use them more conveniently.Thank you for leaving your comments.
H30 Syncs To Apple Health but not BP170B Blood Pressure data.
RBaumZ
Purchased both the H30 scale and InBody BP170B for blood pressure measurements with the expectation that the InBody App would sync all collected data in the app with Apple Health, to integrate with my other activity and health data. I expected both device’s data would sync since the same Inbody app is collecting data for both the scale and blood pressure measurements. H30 scale works well and syncs to Apple Health, however the BP170 blood pressure measurements do not sync. The data is right there in the app however hasn’t been included in the Apple sync. App developers, please include it in the sync feature! I will bring my rating to 5 stars if all BP measurement data was included in the Apple Health sync.
Urgent Improvements Needed in InBody App

Overall, I have been very satisfied with my InBody H20N scale, but when it comes to the app, I must admit that there is a lot of room for improvement. Currently, I am facing specific challenges with the Apple Watch version of the app, which ceased functioning ever since I updated my watchOS. For your information, my Apple Watch is the version 8.One point I find particularly frustrating is the disparity of information available between the app on watchOS and iPhone. For instance, visceral fat index is displayed in the watchOS app but not on the iPhone. I can't understand why the same app, for the same device (in this case, the H20N scale), doesn't provide the same information across all platforms.Another aspect I would like to see improved is the display of segmental fat in the app. After all, this is crucial information that the H20N scale is capable of providing, so why not make it accessible in the app as well? And I don't even want to get started on the lack of a dedicated iPad app. What we have now is basically the iPhone app on a bigger screen, which is a terrible user experience.I understand that developing and maintaining apps across multiple platforms can be a challenge, but I believe InBody users, like myself, deserve and expect more. After all, InBody positions itself as a leader in the health and fitness industry, so it's only reasonable to expect their apps to match the quality of their physical devices.I am sharing this feedback in the hope that it will be taken into consideration and that these issues will be addressed in future updates. I would greatly appreciate it if InBody made the effort to improve the user experience across all of their app platforms.
