This app was outstanding… on the one day I was able to use its full capabilities without a glitch. The first couple days I downloaded and played around with it, it was limited and buggy. That was acceptable because they are clearly working on a groundbreaking project. It has even gotten all of the measurements perfect and this was just from a photo. Then I had one day (a couple days ago) where it was an above and beyond experience. I was able to easily select and edit each part of the house down to the soffits and trim. And being able to select from the general products in order to more accurately represent what I already I have in place made it that much more helpful (i.e. black double-hung windows and a flat roof with TPO). However today, it has regressed to something even less usable than the first time I opened it. I’m sure it will be back to great within the next week. Overall, (when it’s working) this is now one of my favorite new apps. I can see how it’s going to just keep getting better and better.

I was completely blown away with the simplicity of this application. I have always been interested in architectural design and civil engineering. I’ve wanted so badly to design homes and structures as not only a career but a passion as well . For the average design geek to be able to use a CAD program with such ease would be extremely costly- To put it into dollars and cents - the professional design programs can cost up to $9,000 . What Hover does for the average “Joe” design geek is outstanding. Hover delivers an application where one can literally design an entire home with ease and minimal effort. The app is very instrumental in allowing first time business owners the opportunity to launch what can easily become an extremely lucrative business, Llc and or Corporation. This can all be done by any smartphone, device etc..at a very affordable price not to mention the completely free demo offered to get your design wheels turning while becoming acclimated with Hover !!! I just can’t stop talking about this let alone showing everyone around me what I’m doing with such ease ! Update: Hover support replied and informed me that there is a setting that allows photos to be stored on the device. That's great suggestion IF it would have been noted in the installation instructions. I am a homeowner taking photos for insurance purposes. I'm not. Also, the options to “allow access to your photos” is an Apple option and the options provided aren't clear. Who would want to give access to ALL your photos? How would one know that, as Hover stated This DOESN'T allow them to see the other photos on my device. I'm adding a 2nd 1 Star rating for the documentation. For homeowner use, this should be part of the installation information and not dependent on interpreting Apple's options on settings. I can understand Real Estate users are different than home owners and wouldn't want to store every picture. However, it's very likely that a homeowner would like to store the photos, especially, the OTHER photos.Where to begin? PS, I have many years in technology and software. This software has many problems. It's not suited to larger properties as it cannot accommodate houses with pool houses, guest house, or other out buildings. It's also not always possible to go back a step to correct something. The report about the pictures I took wouldn't open. Instead I received a message that the website may be trying to steal my data and couldn't be trusted. This is often caused by an incorrect or expired SSL certificate. The most annoying shortfall is that it's clear that the photos you take, including the extra photos, aren't saved anywhere on your device. What's up with that? I would go out of my mind with frustration if I had to use this app everyday.

We're always looking for ways to improve our app. If you allow the HOVER app to have access to your photo gallery at the time it's being installed on your phone, any photo taken through the HOVER app will be stored to your phone's photo gallery as a back-up. Allowing access in this way only gives us permission to copy the photos into your library - we do not have the ability to view any photos in your library. Our customer support team can assist with this issue and your other concerns about detached properties. Can you send them a note at support@HOVER.to so they can pull up your account and troubleshoot any unresolved issues?

I’ve used it for 3 years in various roles from DIY to a professional roofing and siding contractor. The tear offs are accurate (as accurate as anyone I’ve ever seen with a wheel and a note pad). I relied on it to do 10 estimates a day for a awhile. The first few months my crews would consistently call worried they might be short and would 100% of the time be on the money with the Marisela they had. The interactive 3D model is a fantastic selling tool for a few reasons, it immediately makes the customer feel more comfortable and gives you a professional sales call, it guarantees that the customer and sales are on the same page with color and design choices, most importantly it give a tangible vision to additional sales rather than requiring a customer to have an imagination. As contractors offer we can see a project in our heads, a lot of homeowners don’t have that. This tool got me off the roof and into the living room.
We've made improvements and fixed some issues.

* Some folks will see search improvements, scan takeover confirmation, & new Inspections goodies!
