Very informative and helpful in determining my credit score there is a dispute in process with my Apple Credit card as I pay my Goldman Saks credit care in full daily when allowed and no pending charges or balances hopefully TransUnion will not reduce my credit score to 763 when other reporting agency is 783 I work hard to improve my credit score to maintain my accounts I use credit cards for a charge and payment history rather than cash or checks
Immediately Spammed by Calls
KatC456
I’m in the early stages of looking for my first home. When I came across LendingTree’s service, I was excited because they are highly rated and seemed like they’d make the process of finding the right loan easy. That was not my experience. Within 2 minutes of submitting my information, I was immediately spammed with 21 phone calls from different lenders as well as multiple emails and text messages. I was expecting lenders to contact me. After all, that’s why I gave LendingTree my contact information. However, 21 phone calls in 2 minutes is absolutely absurd. It shows me that LendingTree does not value my personal information at all and will give my phone number out recklessly to lenders who will spam me with calls as often as they deem necessary. I don’t know if the issue is with the lenders themselves or with LendingTree but either way, they need to get their act together and find a way to safeguard their customers information so this kind of thing doesn’t happen. I’m extremely frustrated because I’m now unable to use my personal phone due to the constant spam calls I’m receiving. In addition to the 21 phone calls I received immediately after giving LendingTree my information, I’ve now received 8 additional phone calls from lenders (this is all within the same day. I only created my LendingTree account an hour ago. So within an hour-long period, I’ve received 29 phone calls because of LendingTree). I can not recommend against this service enough. Very very thoughtless and shoddy marketing practices.
I want to love this app

Like other reviewers, I cannot seem to get a clean login experience. The app crashed during sign up, and nearly every time I’ve logged in subsequently. It’s also very sluggish to load content to the first screen, and I cannot close the additional sections for car loans and mortgages on the first screen, even though there is an “X” to close them. There’s also a visual glitch on my iPhone XS MAX, where the green page(?) indicator overlaps the page icons at the bottom of the screen. With so many issues just trying to get started it’s hard to have continued confidence in the app and its security. It sounds like you had anticipated a fix in the latest version for login issues, but it seems that they are persistent. I would love to use the app, but in its current state, I may have to find an alternative until the issues are fixed.

You should be able to successfully log in now without your app crashing. 2. Thank you for notifying us about the visual glitch on the iPhone XS Max! I actually have one as well and am glad you caught that. We fixed the issue the same day it had came out.3. Regarding your loading time on the first screen, we're consistently working towards minimizing any latency in our app.4. We could not replicate your issue with closing additional sections for car loans and mortgages, but please reach out to us at mobile@lendingtree.com if this issue persists and we are happy to help you.Once again, we really appreciate your feedback and hope you can give us another try!Arthur

I’ve been using LendingTree for a few years now and it is becoming more and more inconsistent and the lenders involved with Lending Tree are not in line with LendingTree. The most recent irregular behavior I’ve come across with LendingTree is , I gained 1 point just Monday or Tuesday, and Friday I lost 4 points , same month not 3 days ago . When I 1st started I got reviewed once a month . The worse issue I’ve had is LendingTree gives you all these suggestions to improve your credit . With me how many credit cards I should have at my age , and how much credit I should have at my age group . LendingTree told me I had 4 credit cards , but I should have 9 , and at my age I should have 100,000 credit limit . So I followed and applied and got new cards . Then LendingTree punishes my score for getting new cards and having new inquiries. This is the worse case off double jeopardy I’ve ever seen . The app and company is a joke . Also I applied for a consolidation loan last year , have paid my payments faithfully since receiving the loan through LendingTree, this was last year , it was some web bank , LendingTree keeps telling me I can save money by refinancing, guest what I’m trapped in a loan with high interest rates because LendingTree so called lenders will not give me a new loan to refinance with . If these lenders are with LendingTree shouldn’t they be working with LendingTree and is customers to help them get on track , with out the customers there is no LendingTree. This is becoming the worst place to get advice , and you will get penalized for following LendingTrees direction . Consumers Be Aware of this Scam
Developer Response
There is a lot to unpack here, but we'd love to help! Please note that my response is not professional advice and you should seek a financial advisor if you feel like you need additional help. Regarding the credit card recommendation, improving your total credit limit and reducing your utilization (both a result of adding a card) will help your credit over time. You're absolutely right that a hard pull will temporarily impact your credit, but this is typically nominal and the benefit will outweigh this impact. We made a course that talks in more depth about this, check out LendingTree Academy in the app.I'm glad you were able to find a loan to consolidate your debt last year. As for the refinance recommendation, we analyze market rates but lenders ultimately make final loan decisions based on a multitude of variables. If you would like to talk through any specific recommendation, we would love to hear from you. Email us at mobile@lendingtree.com and we can help investigate!
New: You can now explore debt relief options and business loans right in the app, making it even easier to find solutions tailored to your financial needs.
We've also made some behind-the-scenes improvements and bug fixes to keep everything running smoothly.
