HAL 9000 is back
Design Materials is an offline material reference guide trusted by hundreds of Engineers, Architects and Designers all over the World. The App was created to be a personal tool to help me take design decisions during the concept ideation of industrial products, in particular for 3D printing. Due to high demand, I decided to make it public and share it's information and power. Basically, it provides the fundamentals for most design/engineer materials on the market, based on reliable and curated academic sources. In addition, you can now create and manager your own Material, Resin or Filament data. Finally, the App features Apple Intelligence (AI) with a pair of Entity Masters in material engineering and STEM: HAL 9000 and Elemento, which can be accessed 24/7 while being on or offline (no internet).
The guide contains material categories such as polymers, metals, naturals and more. All of these include synthetic, organic, bio-degradable, plastic, and much more subcategories. Each material contains information such as: About, Properties, Tags, Applications, Types and Photos.

It’s really good and helps me a lot but how do you design the materials? I went to the material and clicked design then I readied my pencil and then clicked the screen to draw my material and It didn’t work, so that’s why I’m asking how to design materials?

Hi there. Thanks for the review. In regards to your question, you need to press "Edit" for the pencil to work. Hope that helps. New update now supports Filament management for 3D printing 🧵

Why make an app and put it on the App Store if your customers have to pay just to try it? And on top of that it’s not cheap, it’s easier just to Google what you’re looking for. That’s where they got the information from. Don’t waste your time, money, and storage on your device for this. Worthless, bait and switch application that advertises itself as a “free app” then when you tap on the first thing an ad-wall pops up wanting money. I give it a negative 16 stars.

Only few material listed and the rest it in-app which not mention not at the option row.And the most impressive thing it's instantly crashed! 🙌🏻

False review. User clearly wants to affect the App's ratings and sales. The App works just fine, no crash at all. And of course there are in-app purchase because we don't work for free.
