Skoog is a free app that works with your Skoog 2.0 device. The app easily connects wirelessly via Bluetooth® Low Energy to your Skoog. You can select from a range of different instruments and explore scales, as well as adjust the sensitivity settings to your preferred set-up.

The very intelligently designed Skoog app, in combination with the awesome Skoog musical instrument, is a true gift to music makers of all levels! I use the Skoog with my Special Needs students to empower them as viable music makers. They love using the Skoog. And the app, with its powerful yet easy to access Bluetooth and Midi implementation, brings great versatility to the very sensory friendly, durable Skoog musical instrument. I’ve played around with the app for a while and it hasn’t made any sound at all! And it repeatedly shows a mailing subscription ad thing! I guess you need a Bluetooth speaker, which I DON’T HAVE!

Thank you for your review. There is no requirement for a Bluetooth speaker with the Skoog app. Please download the latest version of the app and contact support@skoogmusic.com if you are still experiencing audio issues. The mailing list subscription signup sheet should appear on first launch and after every subsequent launch, but can be dismissed permanently by checking the "don't show this again" option in the bottom right hand corner of the signup form.

The app closes when trying to pair with Spotify, makes the Skoog practically useless. Pretty disappointing.

Thank you for your review. We are aware of some issues with Spotify integration over the past few months. The latest version of the app (1.1.28) should address this issue. Please contact support@skoogmusic.com if you are still experiencing problems after installing the newest version when it becomes available from the App Store.
