Kinvolved’s mobile and web app, KiNVO, brings simple attendance data to life. With KiNVO, schools see smart attendance data and can effectively engage families through two-way text messaging.

Attendance:
- Record attendance by swiping students names left or right, marking them absent or late
- Record reasons for absenteeism and minutes late
- Save your attendance record and/or send a text message, email, or phone call to parents about absenteeism/lateness in multiple languages
- Customize the message you send to parents about absenteeism or lateness
Communication:
- Real-time, two-way translation of all messages enables teachers and parents to communicate regardless of parent language preference
- View your classroom or school-wide directory of students with parent contact information (phone numbers, emails, language preference, role)
- Mass message parent contacts, or send individual messages to parent contacts, receive replies from parents within the app (Note: Your personal phone number or email address is never shared by KiNVO by Kinvolved. When a parent contact receives a message from KiNVO it is from a KiNVO phone number or email address.)
- Send customized, pre-written templates
- Tag message topics as positive or needs improvement
The most recent update, which went into place at the end of August, has created a problem with the inbox and messaging feature. The inbox will show a new message but the message will not load when opened. It spins and says loading message but does not load. This glitch has made the app useless for the purpose of communicating with families. Please find a fix and update with a new version.
Auto shut down

Every time I try to open the app, it auto-shuts down. I never get to see a home screen or even a log in screen. I’ve tried deleting it and reinstalling and also restarting my phone, but now I have to take attendance on my laptop, even though I use it for class presentations every day. Last school year I had zero issues and now I can’t even log in. Frustrating.

Great and easy way to communicate with teachers. The ability to have a conversation allows for better communication and made getting important information so much easier. Its so simple and easy to use. Highly recommend it.

Being able to communicate with families without using my personal phone is incredible. Kinvo is quick, reliable, and produces so much real-time data! Really great experience all around.
