Fix for camera or photo picker dismissing itself when adding photos to an event.

Fixes an issue where removing a nickname from a Contact wouldn't remove it from their related Pen Pal record. Thanks, Kris!

• Custom stationery tracking! Add your own items to track for each letter you send. What type of envelope did you use? Was it sent with a special stamp? What about a wax seal? Track it all! • New options to sort your Pen Pals with sent or received letters differently from each other.

Fix for a bug introduced with the limited contacts support in 1.16—sorry about that! (Thanks to Robin for the heads up.)

This version includes a minor fix for an issue that prevented Contact information being loaded when Pendulum had limited access to the Contacts library, rather than full access.

All-new design for your Pen Pal list highlighting where in the world your letters are going to and coming from! Nicknames are now pulled from Contacts for those who have them. For those of you who don't use Contacts, you can now add addresses to your Pen Pals directly in Pendulum.

This one's mostly small bug fixes and minor improvements! • Fixed relative date updates in the iPad sidebar • Fixed importing from the in-app backup file (1.12) • Updates to icons used for events (1.12) • Fixes to navigation issues on iPad (1.12) • Badge numbers now update in response to background sync events (1.12) • Fixes to backup exports introduced with iOS 17 (1.12) • Fixes to some settings toggles being disabled when they shouldn't be (1.12)

This one's for Natalie! You no longer need ensure "no response required" is off for the correspondence to appear in the "to post" section. Other bug fixes and improvements include: • New: Added the "no further actions" flag to an event, moving the Pen Pal to the "nothing to do" group when toggled. • New: Added the "group Pen Pals by status" setting, defaulting to on. • Fix: swipe-to-dismiss the event edit sheet is now prevented if you change the letter type. • Fix: badge and notifications updated when archiving a Pen Pal. • Fix: improved responsiveness of Pen Pal view for Pen Pals with more than a handful of events. • Fix: split stationery up by comma as well as new line. • Fix: improved reliability of keyboard toolbar on add/edit event screen.

Safely store your data elsewhere by exporting an archive and restoring it at a later date.

Now you can long-press on a Pen Pal for an option to mark any of your written letters to them as sent, and change the type of an incorrectly logged status by tapping the large colourful header at the top. The Pen Pal list also now more reliably updates, among other small bug fixes.

Major new feature: you can now add photos of your correspondence, so you'll never forget what you wrote last time. Other minor updates: • you can now record the pens, inks, and paper used for letters you receive • tracking references for parcels or other correspondence can be recorded, and link out to 17track.net • stationery is now editable, and you can choose to sort the stationery alphabetically instead of by usage • FAQs available in the Settings tab

• New: "Sort Pen Pals alphabetically" toggle in Settings • Improved "choose pen/ink/paper" view • Fix: correctly associate synced Pen Pals with Contacts (thanks Ania!)

Now you can delete stationery you've added manually but not yet used in a letter. And if you feel like supporting us, or just to say thanks for the app, there's a no-expectation tip jar at the bottom of Settings. Thanks for using Pendulum!

A slew of new features, such as: • Statistics! Enjoy the figures and graphs. • Suggestions for which pen, ink, and paper you used appear above the keyboard as you type. • A new toggle to stop tracking the posting of letters, just that you've written one. (Thanks for the suggestion, Mary.)

Minor bug fixes - Pendulum was a bit over eager with its "don't forget to write back!" notifications.

Bug fix when editing manually entered pen pal names and photos.

Don't store your pen pals in Contacts? Now you can add pen pals manually, and turn off Contacts integration entirely. Also choose what type of item you sent, be it a letter, postcard, greetings card, or parcel.
