• The golf bag scan is free now, and much faster. Take up to three angles of your clubs — one close enough to read the numbers — and a club seen twice is counted once. • The bag becomes an item with its own photo, and its page shows every club as the number on its sole. • "Photograph a whole shelf" is findable at last. • Lending: things you can borrow come first, in color.

### The headline: things you seal, nobody can read — including us An item you seal is encrypted **on your phone** before it is stored. Its name, make, model, serial number, values, notes, photographs and receipt become a blob we hold and cannot open. The key never reaches us. What stays readable is what the app needs to work without knowing what a thing *is*: its room, its type and its dates, so reminders still fire. **Premium encrypts everything, automatically.** No switch on each item, no counting, no question when you save. Things added before are encrypted in the background, a few at a time, resuming where they left off. **The free plan gets five**, chosen from a switch on each item's form. ### Setting it up asks for nothing There is no passphrase. It is one button. The passphrase only ever answered "how does the key reach a phone that has never held it" — and your own devices answer it better. **On iPhone the key travels through iCloud Keychain**, end-to-end encrypted, so a new phone or a second device simply has it. Apple cannot read it and neither can we. You get **one recovery code**. Save it. It is the only way back in from a device that cannot get the key any other way, and nobody can do it for you — which is the point, and the cost. ### Lending a sealed thing still works A sealed item you lend reveals **four fields** — its name, emoji, main photo and listing description — and nothing else. Serial, what you paid, what it is worth, the receipt, your notes and every other photograph stay encrypted throughout, and it re-seals when you stop sharing. On the item's page those four are outlined, so you can see which parts a neighbor can read. ### Households In a **family home**, if anyone is Premium, everything in that home is encrypted — including the other person's things, and both of you can seal. In a **shared flat or dorm** it stays personal: your things are yours, your five are your own, and a roommate's subscription is neither inherited nor spent. ### Records and books - **Vinyl and books offer both ways in** — scan the barcode, or photograph the sleeve or cover. Records only carried barcodes from the mid-1980s, so the photo is the right answer for the older half of most collections. - **The catalog number is yours to edit and keep.** It identifies the *pressing*, which is what a record's value attaches to. It goes in the CSV export and comes back on import, including from a Discogs export. - **Fixed: one wrong character stopped Discogs finding anything.** - **Fixed: book barcodes**, and shelf photos read more of a shelf. ### Golf **Scan a golf bag** — one photo down into the bag reads every club, brand and the loft where it is printed, into a bag you can check later. Each club keeps how far it carries and a regrip reminder at forty rounds. Premium. ### Fixes worth naming - **A crash when using more than one account on the same phone.** The second account also got no notifications at all until the app was restarted, while the first kept receiving its own on a phone it had signed out of. - **A crash when locking the vault.** - Sealed items read normally on your own phone — the encryption stops *us* reading them, not you. - An item you stopped sharing left the neighborhood map at once. - Settings lost nine rows to one, and the type and collectible chips collapse to what you picked - cleaner presentation.

Photograph the cover or sleeve instead. MAKE A ROOM YOURS • Every room keeps its house look. More looks, frames, your own bar photo and room names come with Premium. Anything you've already picked stays. ALSO • Premium AI scans now say "No monthly limit". • Fixes and polish throughout.

• New: earn 25 AI scans when someone you invite joins and connects with you. They don't expire. • Fixed: "Use my location" could spin forever instead of giving up. • Fixed: a phone number could be saved in the email field, leaving borrowers unable to reach you.

• Fixed: signing up with Google could close the app. • Fixed: logging a service on an appliance failed, and service history could not be saved or read at all. • Fixed: saving a profile photo could close the app on a slow connection. • Reminders no longer arrive for subscriptions you have cancelled.

• Fixed: the add-item options sheet cut off its lower rows, including the emoji picker, which could not be reached. • Choosing an emoji instead of a photo is now a clearly offered option. • Upkeep has a + to add a subscription, a home system, a warranty or wear. • Scan now appears alongside Snap, Say and Type on the home screen

**Adding something now asks what you can see on it.** The choices behind the photo box are ordered by what actually identifies a thing: a barcode first, then a rating plate or serial label, then a collectible. The camera moved under a heading that says what it is for — "No barcode or label?" — because a photo infers what an object is, while a barcode and a plate read what is printed on it. The barcode row also says out loud that it uses no scan, which was true all along and shown nowhere. **A label scan fills the form from anywhere, not just Home Systems.** Scanning the plate on a camera, a bike or a power tool used to keep brand, model and serial and quietly drop the name, type, notes, warranty and barcode the same scan had already read. Nine things read, three kept, and the scan cost the same either way. Everything it can see now lands in the form wherever you scan from. **Receipts moved into the picker.** Photographing a receipt used to mean expanding "More details" and finding it there. It is now one tap, and it fills the purchase price and date — which is also the missing half of a warranty, since a plate can say "1 year" but only a receipt knows when the year started. **A failed label scan can be retried on the same photo** rather than asking you to take another one of a label you may have moved an appliance to reach. **Behind the scenes:** when a rating plate carries a real retail barcode, that product now helps the shared catalogue the app checks on future scans — the serial never does, because a serial is one appliance rather than a product.

**Your own item stops looking like a stranger's, a trip can actually end, and back means back.** **Lending.** Un-sharing an item from the loan screen left it on the lending list, labelled as somebody else's, with a Request-to-borrow button on your own thing. **And if something didn't come home** — left at the cabin, lent to someone there — you can now say so. It keeps its "away" mark, so your inventory doesn't start claiming it's back on the shelf. **Deleting an item** now takes it off any packing list it was on, and warns you first if it's on loan or packed for a trip.

• Overview is cleaner — your rooms now live in Browse, which opens on the house. • New: Upkeep. Renewals, servicing, gear wear and warranties in one place, soonest first. • New: record a warranty on anything and get a reminder before cover ends. • Saying one item's name by voice is now free for everyone. • Lending has its own tab. • Adding an item is simpler: scanning sits with the camera, and Type is a plain form.

• Offered to help a neighbor? The button now says so — and you can withdraw the offer if your plans change. • Fixed: the free-trial reminder said "20 a month" without saying 20 what. It means AI scans, not dollars.

• A stalled loan can be closed out — no more items stuck "On loan". • Shopping list: swipe right to put it away in your pantry or bar, left to remove. • Photograph a receipt and it reads the price for you. • Item detail leads with where a thing is and where it is going. • Service life now suggests the right one from the item's name.

• Returning something? Leave it on the step and photograph the drop-off — it's timestamped onto the loan, even if they're out. • Lending updates now stay in your notifications instead of vanishing with the banner, and open the loan when tapped. • See which packing lists an item is on, and add it to one, from the item. • Fixed a white screen, and filters showing over an empty inventory. • New packing list: Race or Event. Golf and fishing trips too.

• New: store your policy renewal date and get a reminder two weeks before, with your valued inventory ready. Free. • If a neighbor asks for something you already own, you now get told — and the item shows who's asking. • The map shows how much is offered against how much is wanted, not just where. • Friends, trusted and blocked neighbors are one Lending contacts page. • Fixed: the lending handoff stalled — the pickup code stayed dark after the photo, and the lender's phone never showed the pickup had happened. • Invite a friend by text, not just email. We never see the number or read your contacts. • Listings show up to 3 photos, bigger, with zoom. • You can't ask twice for the same item. • The map now shows how much is offered vs wanted in each area.

• The pickup QR now works with your normal camera app, not just the in-app scanner. • Borrowers can say "I've given it back", and can withdraw a request an owner never answered. • See who you've trusted with your contact details — and take it back. • New: the Remembry Index, a full guide to what the app does. Settings → About. • Choose whether borrow requests alert you at once or as a daily summary.

**Sign back in with a fingerprint, stop being asked for one every time you glance at another app, and read the Index on the web.** App lock asked for a fingerprint on every single return to the foreground. Leaving to copy a serial number or answer a message and coming straight back meant authenticating again — in the one situation where the lock is most in the way and least useful. The cover still goes up the instant Remembry leaves the screen, because that is what keeps an inventory out of the app switcher's preview, but coming back within a minute now lifts it without asking. Those were one behavior and are properly two: hiding the screen from over your shoulder, and proving who you are. Signing in can now use the same fingerprint. After a password sign-in that works, Remembry offers to keep it on the device behind Face ID, your fingerprint or your device PIN, and the sign-in screen grows a button. It is opt-in, it is removed when you sign out, and the password fields never go away — a fingerprint reader having a bad day must not lock you out of your own inventory. It will not help on a new phone or after a reinstall, deliberately: that credential goes with the installation that made it. The shopping list on the Lists tab can have things removed from it — swipe left or tap the X, with an Undo — instead of only being ticked off. Browse filters turn off when you tap them again, rather than needing the All chip at the far end of a scrolled row. And dictated groceries land in the pantry rather than "Other", with an offer to send them to the shopping list where they probably belong.

Everything since 1.3.5, in one update. A GALLERY FOR YOUR ART Art hangs on a wall now instead of sitting in a list. A featured work runs full width, the rest keep their own proportions rather than being squared into thumbnails, and tapping one opens a wall label: title, artist, year, medium, dimensions, edition. Frames are painted in the app — classic gilt, a modern box, a pale float mount, or none — so they add nothing to the download. Add extra views of a piece from the wall itself: the back, the signature, a detail. WHAT A PIECE IS WORTH The vault records value as a range rather than one number, because art is worth what someone pays on the day. Add a confidence level, a source, the date you last checked, and what it's insured for. Values follow the item's own privacy, so a work marked Private keeps its figure private. If your collection is about the art and not the ledger, gallery settings hide money entirely. EXHIBITIONS Choose some works, order them, add a line about the collection and a caption on each piece, and publish. You get a link that opens for anyone — no app, no account, no sign-in. Visitors can tap any work to see it full screen, zoom in, and page through every angle you photographed. What they see is built field by field on our side: title, artist, year, medium, dimensions, edition, your captions, the photos. What they never see is where a piece lives, what you paid, what it's worth, or what your notes say. The link is unlisted rather than secret and the app says so. Stop sharing and it dies at once; publish again and the address changes, so an old link stays dead. LENDING, WITH A RECORD Every completed loan keeps the item as it was named and described at the time, the condition photos from handoff and return, the dates, and a fingerprint that proves the terms weren't altered afterwards. An item's name and description are frozen while it's out, so nothing can be relisted as "as new" mid-loan. If a neighbor deletes their account, your shared record survives with their identity removed rather than disappearing. A REBUILT HOME SCREEN Adding leads: Snap, Say or Type, named on the screen. Everything waiting on you collects in one block that empties to nothing. Rooms became compact tiles, so a house fits on a screen. Lists moved to the bottom bar and are reachable from anywhere. SIGNING IN Your phone now offers to save your password and fills it in next time. You can also add Sign in with Apple to an account you already have, from Settings — so Hide My Email takes you to your own inventory rather than a new empty account. SAFER NEIGHBORS Everything shared with neighbors is screened before anyone else can see it. Report a listing or a request, block a neighbor in both directions, and reports now reach a human who can act on them. FIXES WORTH NAMING • Photos taken on iPhone could vanish after tapping OK, with no crop screen and no error. The photo is attached before cropping now, so you keep it either way. • Neighbors couldn't deliver anything. Borrow requests, friend requests and replies were rejected before they reached you. • Setting an item to Neighborhood sent you to pick your area over and over, forever, no matter how many times you saved it. • Three reminders opened the app and then did nothing. They now open the item or the screen they're about. • Subscriptions showed the price instead of the renewal date whenever a price existed. They show both. • Filter and category labels were invisible against their own backgrounds on several screens.
