I downloaded TotalAV last year, paying $20 for a one year of service, fully intending to resubscribe this year. I do not ever enrol in any automatic resubscription for any app, but expected to get a reminder to continue my subscription when the anniversary drew near. Sure enough, at just after the 11 month mark I get an email reminder that my subscription will expire shortly, so I go to the online subscription page and I am shocked to see that my subscription charge has increased by 500% to $120 for one year. Shocked and annoyed, I immediately cancelled the possibility of renewal and deleted the app from all my units (phone, ipad and pc) on the day before it expired. Since then I have been bombarded with phone calls id’d as coming from Batesville, Texas pushing for me to re-subscribe. NO WAY, PEDRO!Jump forward to 2025 and I’m offered a year for $19. I decide to take it on so I try to download it on my PC, but get the message that it is not recognised by the Microsoft Store, so I cancel the order and receive the responce thet my membership would expire in July 2026. I send them a message informing them that, as I cannot download the app on my PC, which is where I wanted it, I requested a refund of $19 to my VISA card. I received a message that someone would contact me shortly. The result - silence. So, three weeks later I send another email request for the refund and receive the same message that someone would contact me shortly. The result this time. - silence again.It is unfortunate that I cannot award zero stars in my review, but rest assured, I will never waste any more money or time with TotalAV, other than to recommend that anyone considering spending any money with them should not walk away - they should run away.
