Great but…

Hello, every single Apple device I have has used this app (ofc) but here are the things I like, dislike or think should be added. 1: the live option is SO annoying because whenever I try taking a photo some how the live option is on and I have to retake the photo so maybe you could put it in the menu? Btw I did see someone else talk about this but it is VERY annoying. 2: tbh I wish you could type when editing, I’m always taking photos and editing them with the drawing thing and I have to use my VERY messy handwriting and it gets super annoying so I would love y’all to add this. Last but not least I think it would be great if there would be a way to pause the video: you’re filming a transition video on your camera app, so while you’re filming you press “pause” you camera stops and you get ready to do the next part. For a short version and a roundup dislike: live option. Like: that it’s free and you can draw on ur photos. Should be added: transition button, filters and type thing.

GET RID OF THAT INFURIATING ‘LIVE’ OPTION!

Words can’t express my frustration and infuriation about the infernal ‘live’ photo option which - even though I’ve followed the process for making it not automatic - I keep accidentally and unwittingly turning on. In bright sunlight, I simply can’t see that this has happened. As a result, I have to manually go through each photo and turn live off before I can airdrop my photos to my iPad. If I miss even ONE live photo, the airdrop won’t work - no explanation given. It took me ages to work out that this was the problem. The ‘live’ option is an optional gimmick. It should NOT be deployed in such a way that it imposes itself on photos by accident. PLEASE tweak your software so that it’s buried in a menu somewhere, not sitting there for every photo waiting to be accidentally turned on.
I have been using apple products for all my computers, iPads, phones for over 30 years now. But this is a deal-breaker! If this live option is going to haunt the camera app like this in the future, this will be my last iPhone! I hope someone responsible reads this and can do something about it! I would appreciate some acknowledgement of this message.

It’s a camera, yes

I don’t need to point out that this is camera app that takes photos and videos. Yes it does that.

I’m constantly frustrated by the lack of manual control on this default camera though. I wish I could just adjust the white balance because the app always fails to capture the mood of a warmly lit room. The app allows you to manually adjust the exposure - please also make this an option for the white balance too.
