By far the worst app I have a used. You can use this app for anything it is or should be intended for. You cannot claim for pdf invoices, only photos, not even your camera reel (which I could’ve used for pdf screenshots), you cannot use it for a digital card (?? In 2025), it is not keeping up with the market, it is not intuitive (I am a millennial), it is far from the commbank app which is surprisingly good for a big 4 bank, the savings you make from them as a provider is still on par as many others - who have much better apps with easier claiming mechanisms and easier to deal with people over the phone. I would not recommend this insurance based on this app’s usability alone, I will have to change my health insurance as it cost me money in the financial year change over, I live too remote to be near a provider and to waste time on the phone. Not worth it.

Recurring error message for months

For the past 4 months I’ve been unable to use the app and have had to login to their website via a browser due to the error message that says “No internet”. In fact my internet is working fine with every other app and email client and browser that I use a matter of seconds before and after attempting to login to the CBHS app. This error appears to be have been going on for some time now so it would be nice to see it finally fixed.

The 'no internet connection' is a known bug we are in the process of fixing and a new version of the app will be out soon. In the meantime, under setting please ensure the 'enable pin' functionality is turned off and we recommend enabling Face ID. Thank you, The CBHS Team

Wow, what a trip back 10 years to where your chat doesn’t even recognise you’re logged in and have to provide personal details manually over the chat. This app is antiquated, reflects the limited and clunky desktop experience. Slow, semi manual, process driven and unintuitive. Allows the bare basics ok but anything else you’re better off waiting 30 mins on the phone. At least the call centre people are nice when you get through. It’s not the app so much as reflecting the poorly managed tech behind that doesn’t allow for contemporary user experiences. Download if you reminisce what digital service was like in 2010.

The latest version includes the CBHS digital card. You can now download your digital card to your Apple Wallet and use it to claim.
