Kicking out

The moment I try to enter the app it kicks me out. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app multiple times yet it still doesn’t load. This is on my iPhone which has iOs 12, but it says that it’s compatible with 11 and above. When I tried on a different device with iOs 17, it worked.

Otherwise, overall great app! I like the fact that you can still use the barcode without having to add your credit card into the app, unlike which most other food apps force you to.

Worst App & Transition Ever.

As someone who drinks at least one bubble tea a day this app is horrendous, has lost me money and is incapable of the basic functions the card has. It would not transfer my old membership losing my accumulated points, takes too long to load a card that was always just available in my Apple wallet, has caused frustration for the poor employees at my usual store and would not let me scan my card until it upgraded last time wasting time ordering and holding up the line because I couldn’t open it until it upgraded. Most frustratingly it took my points and didn’t give me my free drink. This is so poorly designed and rolled out. I don’t need an app just so you can steal my data and try to market me things. A card was fine. Time to find an app-less bubble tea franchise now. If I could give negative stars I would. You have lost a customer who spends nearly $3k a year on bubble tea. And from the reviews I’m not the only one. Enjoy.

1. We are working right now to implement the Apple Wallet card. This was our plan from the beginning but has not yet been implemented, but stay tuned, it will be out very soon!

3. If you have lost any points, we can also help with that.
4. If you have enough points for a free drink, it automatically converts the points to a free drink coupon. Please check your "Rewards" section of the app.

More improvements

I too was confused as to why they changed to an app when the card on Apple Wallet was fine. I suppose it helps with their marketing and capturing analytics..

The ongoing loop of the capture and logins after registering a new membership number on the app does frustrate you. But I got it working with the membership conversion somehow on the Safari webpage after confirming the membership via email. Did also take a few tried with errors.

I also don’t understand why my points that were 10 got deducted and converted to a free coupon on a separate tab. Couldn’t you just leave the 10 points for the user to continually add this on to remind them and then when they want to use it just scan their membership barcode and it will act as their coupon? Why the need for another barcode that I’ll forget is there..
