Just moved over from apple iOS native calendar app, this calendar app is pretty good but is missing a yearly view. Yearly view is useful when planning or checking anything on a yearly scale like holidays, birthdays, rent, work etc. Anything that happens in more than a month’s time it’s much easier to look at the whole thing in one single view. Also in monthly view I don’t know why it is scrolled horizontally but scrolling vertically makes more sense as some days from previous and next month’s are visible at the first and last week of the current month, it would be more seamless to scroll up & down and see each month following the other without page breaks. Plus this is just something minor but when scrolling, everything except 3 day view snaps to grid and it breaks the continuity of the calendar. In weeks view if I were to, say I am planning a trip or an event over 4 days, if 2 of those days were on next week the whole event would be broken up into 2 “pages”. Of course I can change the start of week day to a day that puts the whole event into the same page but it’s just nicer to scroll around the calendar to adjust the view instead of having to go settings every time.
I love this app but a slight tweak would be great
🥰🤩🥰🤩💖💖
I know you can add people’s birthdays in. But I would love a section in the app where you can input and see everyone’s birthdays/ anniversary etc in one glance. One that would automatically show the age the person is turning each year. Possibly even alert or highlight milestone birthdays. Other than that. Just a few more colour options. I would love to have a colour for more regular items. Like each child for appointments, a colour for work rosters. A colour for appointments. A colour for birthdays etc. Just a larger selection of colours would be great 💕💕 other than this. Really loving the app. Easy to use, easy to read. I love how it puts appointments in from my emails. Such a clear simple app.
Lost all the events after the iphone data transfer
TharooShawn
There is a big bug somewhere in the app. I have changed my iPhone and transferred all the data. But after the transfer I have lost all my calendar events. No where to be found. I have created those events and shared with few other people as well. And the most surprising part is next day the other people whom I shared the events told me that someone (who is not even part of these calendar invites and who doesn’t have any connection to these calendar events) has cancelled all the events. Luckily I know the person and when I talk to him he said there were some events strangely appeared on his calendar and he has no idea why he had them. One day I was an owner of 20 calendar events and next day somebody else is managing my events and I don’t even have access to them. This is one of a biggest privacy violations. I was thinking where is the data security. How come this is even possible. Not sure if this is apple or google. But this is a huge bug that you need to immediately address.
Love this calender
already disappointed
I really like this calender but want to suggest some improvements. Like allowing the option to add multiple notification alerts at the same time. It always jumps back out when you select one & I need multiple reminders. Also, I can still miss these reminders if I am away from my phone. Not sure how to better improve that but I’d love your thoughts on it. Is there a side bar option that could hold the reminders/ to-do list on the side of the calender view so you could be prompted to mark things off? Oh and I’d like a way I could share and categorise a calender directly with my family and set up a reminder that notifies other family members of upcoming appointments.
• Bug fixes and performance improvements.
