Secure system that allows you to share passwords across different devices with an open codebase so it’s been gone over by many eyes to ensure safety.I could see the writing on the wall recently with my old iPhone only app that hadn’t been updated in a long time, and spent most of a day copying by hand details across to BitWarden. I am glad I did as I now cannot even open the old app under the new version of iOS (thanks for that incredibly annoying ‘feature’, Apple!). Even if the app never gets updated I can at least get the data out via a PC now and transfer it into something else if I had to. I know others that have lost all their stored passwords in an old iOS only app as they can’t revert their phone to an old enough version to get it to work, so glad I moved when I did.
This app brings sanity to my online world

I can now have a unique complex password for each of my many online accounts. The app allows me to organise all of my passwords in the same way that I organise my life to accessing them is intuitive and quick, which is really important to me. I looked at a few other password opps but settled on Bitwarden as it looked simple enough to facilitate my life rather than complicate it, the app looked secure and there are a few extensions that I can add in the future when I am ready to expand a bit.
Mostly perfect

I’ve been using the free version for nearly a year now and it does its job very well.I’ve used it on IOS, macOs & windows. I like that there are multiple options to unlock the vault (pin & biometrics). The only inconvenience I’ve ever experienced is having it install it on the browser across each instance. I can’t install it once on the platform and use it seamlessly as Apple password manager. I must have to install extension into each browser & permit it to read every web page that I visit. This is the only part that I dislike. It would be a lot more respective of user privacy if I could simply install the base application on the platform and allow the browser to request for credentials from the app rather than allowing the extension to read every web page I visit.Over all, a really good application with an easy & intuitive user interface.
Great open source password manager

This has been my favourite password manager I’ve used, and I’ve used about 4 different services over the years. One feature request: have the search bar visible at the top as soon as the app is launched. The reason I load the app is to find a password for a site I don’t have logged in already, it’s the main thing I do on the app. Having to tap the search icon adds an extra second to getting to the password I want, and those seconds add up. Thanks for your hard work!
